ボーカル、作詞作曲を務める傍ら、弾き語りの活動を始める。
2007年ピアノ弾き語りによるメジャーデビューアルバム「御身」が各方面で話題になり，坂本龍一や大貫妙子らからも賛辞が寄せられる。
大林信彦監督作品「転校生 さよならあなた」の主題歌を担当した他、 CM、エッセイの分野でも活躍中
2006年3月１stミニアルバム「愛し、日々」発表。
2007年4月メジャー第一弾となる２ndアルバム「御身onmi」発表。
2007年6月大林宣彦監督「転校生 さよならあなた」主題歌(「さよならの歌」)担当。

In "風のように," 寺尾紗穂 sings about her never-ending love for someone despite the passing of time and distance. The song starts with the singer expressing her determination to continue loving the person she is singing to, just like the wind that transcends through seasons. She calls out to the person, yearning to be with them, even in the rain. The chorus becomes an affirmation of her belief that they will meet again in the spring. As she closes her eyes, she feels that time, standing still for a while, moves again. She reminisces about the person's words of reassurance and wonders who they were meant for.
In the second verse, she talks about the parallel shift in their lives. When her sky turns pitch dark, she believes that light would soon come in the person's sky.
