大学時代に結成したバンドThousands Birdies' Legsで
ボーカル、作詞作曲を務める傍ら、弾き語りの活動を始める。
2007年ピアノ弾き語りによるメジャーデビューアルバム「御身」が各方面で話題になり，坂本龍一や大貫妙子らからも賛辞が寄せられる。
大林信彦監督作品「転校生　さよならあなた」の主題歌を担当した他、 CM、エッセイの分野でも活躍中
2006年3月１stミニアルバム「愛し、日々」発表。
2007年4月メジャー第一弾となる２ndアルバム「御身onmi」発表。
2007年6月大林宣彦監督「転校生　さよならあなた」主題歌(「さよならの歌」)担当。
2008年5月3rdアルバム「風はびゅうびゅう」発表。
2009年4月4thアルバム「愛の秘密」発表。
2010年6月5thアルバム「残照」、２ndシングル「「放送禁止歌」」発表。

Overall Meaning

The lyrics for 寺尾紗穂's song Otenkiame paint the picture of a person looking out at the rain and seeing a break in the clouds.
