Sakuraba is regularly contracted for composing work through his own TEAM Entertainment, a company founded in 1999 to promote and license the work of artists.
With respects to his musical style, Sakuraba takes the baroque and melodic Japanese progressive rock of the 1980s and expands it with his own trademark complex rhythms, emotional flutes, use of male choir and heavy reverb. The lighter side of his style is a crossover between symphonic progressive rock, cinematic orchestra and new age. Sakuraba is also known for introducing many jazz-like improvisations to his music style. In recent years he has made a serious effort toward expanding his style even further.

I personally think that:
1) This is one of the most genuine, epic moments that the whole history of videogames ever reached, honestly (the music; the moment you defeat Orstein and Smough).
2) Gwynevere is an illusion, we know this, but life itself, as well, is made of "illusions", because we, mortal ones, struggle for search something, a certain something we need in our life.
Killing Gwynever bring backs everything to crude reality, but isn't wrong either to not do that, and nurture into such illusion.
Hands down, the people behind this game are great.

I know that a few ArinsMind fans are in here, so I'll just post this here: 1:36
Gwynevere
I am here
I've slain everything before thee
Now I know what I was fighting for!
Gwynevere
I am here
No more pain and suffering
All that I have done I've done for you!

Just realising now how similar this soundtrack is to the dancer's soundtrack. Nice little clue that the Dancer is one of her daughters

Honestly Vaati, ever since i've seen the Edwad series i never know when to take you seriously or not from time to time.

I know you have a lot of videos planned, but I'd love to see one on the music of the soulsborne games. Some like Aldrich's are tied to the lore, and others like Gwyn's theme simply set the theme perfectly for the fight. I genuinely think that it's just as important as the boss' visual design.

+PlatypusAfro I fucking hate the term "Soulsborne"
Mosh
I've never tried to fight "her" during my run of ds1 but hearing this for the first time I could of never thought of the dancers theme. huh, neat.

The only happy moment in the game and it's a fucking illusion .
Faust
