POSTCARD FROM PARIS
Lyrics

"I'll really miss you" だけども

So until I come back home・・・

Sendin' you a postcard from Paris
Sendin' you a postcard from Paris, Paris
A postcard from Paris
Sendin' you a postcard from Paris, Paris

So until I come back home

Sendin' you a postcard from Paris
Sendin' you a postcard from Paris, Paris
A postcard from Paris
Sendin' you a postcard from Paris, Paris

Sendin' you a postcard from Paris
Just to reassure you I'm comin' back
Sendin' you a postcard from Paris, Paris
Please be waiting there with our love intact
Postcard from Paris
Just to reassure you I'm comin' back

Sendin' you a postcard from Paris, Paris
Please be waiting there for me・・・

Overall Meaning

"Postcard from Paris" is a beautiful love song about a woman who has left her lover and sent a postcard from Paris. She is standing on the terrace, looking at the jet plane, and thinking about her loved one. The plane's window is where she threw a kiss that turned into a star, wishing her love to find her. With the sunset, she finds herself in a romantic city that she has dreamed of. Although she misses her lover, she leaves him with a simple message in the form of a destination written on a piece of paper that she leaves behind. As she walks through the city's streets, she is reminded of her love for her partner.
