Every bill they pass even if it’s only for the American citizens aid, they take around to their party and each one gets a cut of what they’d want so that the bill can pass. If they don’t agree then that parties politician then wants more or something else. This is the only way it passes because lobbying has become their paycheck. The answer is simple, yet very complex at the same time.
People stopped paying attention to Law as it existed before the 14. Amendment and rewriting the Constitution, thus reversing the course of freedom. Still, people could have have tremendous power IF they would have independently educated themselves.
But people became mentally very lazy, and the rats came into every town, slowly took over every office of any importance (all the way to the highest office in the land) and were allowed to prosper at the people's expense.
They in essence became a brand of aristocratic elite without knighthoods, where they know they can do anything or almost anything because they essentially occupy all three branches of government.
Government officials like Ted Cruz are very rare and it's really uphill battle for him and few others.
They can't even stop this monster, all they can do is to slow it down - unless the people finally wake up and say enough's enough.
