Shakur was born in New York City to parents who were both political activists and Black Panther Party members. Raised by his mother, he relocated to Baltimore in 1984 and to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1988. With the release of his debut album 2Pacalypse Now in 1991, he became a central figure in West Coast hip-hop for his conscious rap lyrics. Shakur achieved further critical and commercial success with his follow-up albums Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z... (1993) and Me Against the World (1995). His Diamond certified album All Eyez on Me (1996), the first double-length album in hip-hop history, abandoned his introspective lyrics for volatile gangsta rap. In addition to his music career, Shakur also found considerable success as an actor, with his starring roles in Juice (1992), Poetic Justice (1993), Above the Rim (1994), Bullet (1996), Gridlock'd (1997), and Gang Related (1997).
During the later part of his career, Shakur was shot five times in the lobby of a New York recording studio and experienced legal troubles, including incarceration. In 1995, Shakur served eight months in prison on sexual abuse charges, but was released pending an appeal of his conviction. Following his release, he signed to Marion "Suge" Knight's label Death Row Records and became heavily involved in the growing East CoastβWest Coast hip hop rivalry. On September 7, 1996, Shakur was shot four times by an unidentified assailant in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas; he died six days later. Following his murder, Shakur's friend-turned-rival, the Notorious B.I.G., was at first considered a suspect due to their public feud, but was also murdered in another drive-by shooting six months later in March 1997 while visiting Los Angeles.
Five more albums have been released since Shakur's death, all of which have been certified Platinum in the United States. In 2002, Shakur was inducted into the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame. In 2017, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. Rolling Stone magazine ranked Shakur among the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
Shakur was born on June 16, 1971, in the East Harlem section of Manhattan in New York City. While born Lesane Parish Crooks, at age one he was renamed Tupac Amaru Shakur. He was named after TΓΊpac Amaru II, the descendant of the last Incan ruler, TΓΊpac Amaru, who was executed in Peru in 1781 after his failed revolt against Spanish rule. Shakur's mother explained, "I wanted him to have the name of revolutionary, indigenous people in the world. I wanted him to know he was part of a world culture and not just from a neighborhood."
Shakur had an older stepbrother, Mopreme "Komani" Shakur, and a half-sister, Sekyiwa Shakur, two years his junior.

Let them feel were your coming from
Let them feel were your coming from
Only the ladies, only the ladies
Girl it's alright, baby
(Are you still down for me now?)
'Cause it?s there in your eyes, yeah
I can see that you want me
(Are you still down for me now?)
By the way that you smile
(Yeah, are you still down for me?)
Left once again at home
Another night on your own
Ain't no fun in lovin' if you're lovin' alone
How does it feel to be useless, oh no, tell me
Can you recall how close we used to be then
Can you still remember those feelings again
Seems like everytime I see you
There's a tear in your eye
(What you cryin' for?)
Time to make some decisions or go dyin' inside
Tell 'em all call me a fool
But I'm stuck in this love thing
Plus I'm over heatin? from the rush
Our tongues touch
Kissin' feelin' fireworks, watch the sky
I'll make you smile
But you'd rather have what makes you cry
Say goodbye and I'll leave now
With my heart on my sleeve, memories now
What I found is you still care you had feelings
And they're still there, baby
Girl, keep it real here are you still down?
Girl it?s alright, baby
(It's alright)
'Cause it's there in your eyes, yeah
(It's in your eyes, I can see it in your eyes)
I can see that you want me
(Don't cha want me? don't cha want me?)
By the way that you smile
(Haha )
Are you still down for me?
Remember that evening
(Baby, are you still down?)
I knew that you were too scared
To go all the way
But you did it to please me
You were crying it was raining
When you gave it to me
The more I see you
The more that I feel inside
And I know one day
You'll make it back to where you can fly
(Watch time go)
Don't cry
(Watcha cryin' for?)
Tomorrow brings better days
Let me dry your eyes
Take your burden away
Only once in a lifetime touch my soul
Go slow, baby, boo, don't rush the flow
Got me all weak, baby but I'm strong in parts
More bounce to the ounce with the longest sparks
Gettin' mine like fine wine, measured in time
Many other brothers loved you but the pleasure was mine
Mama told me how to love a woman properly sprung
We committed so I hit it and it's properly done
Are you still down?
Girl it's alright, baby
(Are you still down for me now?)
'Cause it's there in your eyes yeah
(It's in your eyes, I can see it in your eyes)
I can see that you want me
(Don't cha want me? Don't cha want me?)
By the way that you smile
(Come on, come on)
(Tell me)
Are you still down for me?
Yeah, girl it's alright, baby
(Yeah, are you still down for me now?)
'Cause it's there in your eyes, yeah
(It's in your eyes, I can see it in your eyes)
I can see that you want me
(She want you Jon, she want you)
By the way you smile
(Look at she smile at cha look)
Baby are you still down, are you down for me?
Baby are you still down, still down for me?
Baby are you still down, still down for me?
Baby are you still down, still down for me?
Baby are you still down, still down for me?
Baby are you still down, still down for me?
Baby are you still down, still down for me?
Baby are you still down, still down for me?
Baby are you still down, still down for me?
Baby are you still down, still down for me?
Baby are you still down, still down for me?
Baby are you still down, still down for me?
The song "R U Still Down?" is a soulful R&B and hip hop song expressing the emotional struggle of a man who is trying to hold on to a past love. The lyrics talk about the pain of being left alone, the sadness of seeing someone you once loved sad, and the desire to know if they still care. The chorus asks the woman if she is still down for him, whether she still loves him and still wants to be with him. The lyrics reveal that the singer is longing for something that may no longer exist, but he is still hoping that the love they once shared will bring them back together. The song is a vulnerable and honest representation of the pain that comes with losing someone you love.
The song was released posthumously after Tupac Shakur's death in 1996. The song features Jon B, an American R&B singer and songwriter, who sings the chorus of the song. The song was included in Tupac's album "R U Still Down? (Remember Me)", which was released in 1997.

My fav verse 00:53
Eminem:
Man, it feels like these walls are closin' in
This roof is cavin' in, up it's time to raise it, then
Your days are numbered like pages in
My book of rhymes;Β got 'em cookin', boy
This crooked mind of mines got 'em all shook
And scared to look in my eyes
I stole that fuckin' clock: I took the time
And I came up from behind and pretty much snuck up
And butt-fucked this game up
Better be careful when you bring my name up
Fuck this fame, that ain't what I came to claim
But the game ain't gonna be the same on the day that I leave it
But I swear, one way or another
I'ma make these fuckin' haters believe it
I swear to God, won't spare the rod
I'm a man of my words, so your fuckin' heads better nod
Or I'ma fuck around in this bitch and roast everybody
Sleep on me, that pillow is where your head'll lie
Permanently, bitch, it's beddy-bye
This world is my Easter egg, yeah, prepare to die!
My head is swole
My confidence is up, this stage is my pedestal
I'm unstoppable, Incredible Hulk
You're trapped in my medicine ball
I could run circles around you so fast your fuckin' head'll spin, dog
I'll split your cabbage and your lettuce and olives, I'll fuckin'β
