Armageddon
6.2 Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Said this the voice of the ghost that you robbed
The youth of the future, well they've got no voices at all
And this is the evil in your twisted eyes
This false royal gargoyle sitting up on his throne of lies

Armageddon, won't you save me

Hey, we're out to steal the crown
Step aside for the real fucking heir
Hey, it's time to burn this castle down
Who's the gargoyle sitting in the kings' chair
Hey, we're out to steal the crown
Step aside for the real fucking heir
Hey, it's time to burn this castle down
Who's the gargoyle sitting in the kings' chair

Said we're up and we're down and everywhere in between
Burning buildings down and crashing up limousines
We'll come from the north and we'll march from the west and the east
It's the new revolution, we'll stop when the kings guillotined

Armageddon, won't you take me

Hey, we're out to steal the crown
Step aside for the real fucking heir
Hey, it's time to burn this castle down
Who's the gargoyle sitting in the kings' chair
Hey, and we'll storm the streets again
We'll break it down until we can't go higher
Hey, and we're raising hell again
Who's the gargoyle sitting in the kings' chair

Hey, we're out to steal the crown
Step aside for the real fucking heir

Hey, it's time to burn this castle down
Who's the gargoyle sitting in the kings' chair

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of the song "Armageddon" by 6.2 address themes of rebellion, injustice, and the longing for change. The opening lines convey a sense of frustration towards an authoritative figure who has become disconnected from the needs and desires of the younger generation. The voice of the ghost symbolizes the voiceless youth, expressing their discontent and emphasizing the lack of representation and power they experience.

The lyrics further criticize the person in power by referring to them as a "false royal gargoyle" sitting on a "throne of lies." The chorus of the song, with the repetition of "Armageddon, won't you save me," reflects a desperate plea for an apocalyptic event to bring about radical change and liberation. It expresses a desire for a cataclysmic event that would dismantle the current system and pave the way for a new order, where the true heirs to power and justice can take their rightful place.

Overall, "Armageddon" captures the frustration and anger felt by those who feel marginalized by the established power structures. It serves as an anthem of revolution and defiance, calling for the downfall of an oppressive regime and the emergence of a new era of equality and empowerment.

10.8 is about the lowest. You can go right respectively with the direct injection. The 6.6 L is also 10.8 from the factory to run 87 octane. I understand in this case it's for the boost but I'm just wondering why that's where she ended up.. Is that just the optimal compression ratio for boost and or low octane. Natural aspiration.... Honestly, even with a bone stock L83 or l86 l84, l87, whatever I believe need a minimum of 89.90 octane, even the 5.3 in my opinion, especially the 376 I mean that goes without saying but the 325 in my opinion needs it at least 89... To get optimum performance and economy... Also keeps the inside of the engine a little bit cleaner plus the catch can help them tremendously

I have the same Armageddon twin turbo kit on my 2017 6.2 liter. LMR out of Houston installed the kit and built the engine. At SEVEN psi, I’m at 600 at the rear wheels, at 13 PSI, I’m at 810 at the wheel. Why the disparity?

What A/R housing did you use?

I’m a little surprised that those A/T tires held up

Strictly Performance Motorsports

We were just grateful they fit on the dyno. We'll probably be investing in an in-house, dedicated dyno rear wheel/tire setup for the trucks that we can swap on for builds like this.

@Strictly Performance Motorsports Why did it fall off so bad at 5500 rpm? It has a high ram, it though it would have went way beyond that. Did it run out of fuel? I’m wanting to do this but I’m not sure what to do about fueling

Strictly Performance Motorsports

These things light up right off the hit. Ton of fun.
