1) AM is an artist from the UK, who is a part of the drill collective 410, and one half of the duo within the collective, Skengdo X AM. Born in South London, AM is widely regarded as one of the genre's most skilled rappers, and was highly influential in advancing the genre in terms of lyricism.
2) AM is an indie rock band formed in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Silverlake, California . New Album Future Sons & Daughters was produced by Charles Newman (Magnetic Fields). The band consists of founding member AM (vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar), Michael Sawtizke (electric guitar), Mark Getten (bass), Jesse Nason and Brett Bixby (piano, organ, synths), Chris Lovejoy (percussion) and Derek Brown (drums- The Eels/ Everest).
About AM:
The lead singer and founder is "AM" whose moniker is derived from his initials. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana he brings twanging Americana, twinkling folk-rock-pop, caressing Philly soul, and funky R&B whatchacallit to the band's sound. He has drawn influences from various artists including the Beatles, Badfinger, Curtis Mayfield and Jorge Ben, and demonstrates over and again the simple fact of songwriting life: that imagination and taste is what it's all about. AM was handpicked by French duo Air to open their U.S., Canadian, and French tour and also toured with Charlotte Gainsbourg in North America in 2010. They have been compared to Wilco, Beck, and Last Shadow Puppets,
“…AM writes literate, emotionally balanced tunes that are infectious without being moronic, hip without being oh so, and pop infected without losing their edge… he is a songwriter ready to be discovered by a wider audience, an audience interested in smart and sincere songs that speak to the vastness of the human spirit.”
Future Sons & Daughters
4**** Q Magazine UK
5**** Sunday Express UK
The new album Future Sons & Daughters is a heady brew of twinkling Anglified folk-rock-pop with arguably, some of the best bridges and choruses in the bizness, that showcases AM's acute finessing ear for the ancient art of real, true songcraft. The album was produced by Charles Newman (responsible for the sounds of The Magnetic Field and who simultaneously produced AM's record and The Magnetic Field's new album) and was recorded in both Elliot Smith's old house and Wilder Studios.
The latest music video is for the single "Grand Opinion" and was directed by Blake West and shot at the beaches of Zuma and Malibu, California.

Troubled Times
AM's debut album "Troubled Times" had every song placed in a movie or television show which hasn't been done since Moby, and received a slew of other accolades including iTunes "Best Indie Album Of The Year."
Side By Side - Duets Vol. 1
This album features original tracks and two cover tunes performed with friends Meiko, Susie Suh, Julianna Raye, Buddy, Tina Dico and Rick Garcia. (5 Bonus tracks available at iTunes) In earlier reviews, AM's music has been called "mellow gold" and "Side By Side" reinforces that. The EP is worth owning if only on the strength of two of the performances - the original "A Part Of Something Missing" performed with Rick Garcia and the incredibly haunting and beautiful cover of George Harrison's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." "I'll Be Your Mirror" is a Bossa Nova gem performed with Rufus Wainwright's Julianna Raye. Gus Black (a singer/songwriter in his own right) directs AM's music video "Hear Me Sing" featuring Buddy.
Holiday Happiness & Cheer EP
AM delivers holiday music for the first time with his new EP “Holiday Happiness & Cheer”. Included is a beautifully haunting rendition of Vince Guaraldi’s “Christmas Time Is Here” (from the classic animated television Peanuts Special “A Charlie Brown Christmas”) complete with moody bossa influenced guitar, creepy synth work and McCartney style bass lines. Also included is an original song “I’m Home For The Holidays” – a spacious orchestral folk song that focuses on the somber elements of holiday time.
3) Sludge/doom metal from Finland, consisting of Mikko Aspa (Grunt, Clandestine Blaze...) and Jukka Mattila (Stumm, Throat).
4) aM (ae’m)[アム(amu)] is a 2 person unit which creates Electro beats. Their music is influenced by many styles such as Techno, House, Funk, Rock, and Electro.
Formed in Tokyo, Japan in 2001. The group consists of Hiroaki Kanai and Kōdai Tazawa.
Kōdai Tazawa was also the drummer for the band Supercar.
Hiroaki Kanai was a producer for the band Supercar.

Man, it's kinda funny when I think back
We used to bend antenna's to hear the sound of a hype track
Used to roll down windows, to make 'em feel that
Self appointed, public defenders of real rap
I wouldn't change it
Spendin' a thousand hours a week in that basement
Studying flows, to understand the placement
And it was all about mix tapes
And pause mixes, couldn't afford the real thing
All we needed was a pencil and a pad
To elaborate on all the thoughts we had, oh
And we didn't have much, but we had each other, and that was more than enough
We were there for each other when times got tough
And we were never good at givin' up, word up
Take me home, home
Take me home, home
Take me home, home
Home, home
Take me home, home
Home, home
You give me a feeling that I can't let go of
It's a collaboration in my soul
There's nothin' else I've found that makes me whole
You give me a feeling that I can't let go, oh
I mean, I remember those times when our relationship blurred the lines
And I got enveloped it 'till my cerebellum
Was swellin' to finish, needed a minute with the horizon
And thank God, you taught me to write it down
Which brought me to His plan that brought me to right now
So every time I feel like puttin' the mic down
You remind me I'm here to burn 'till the lights out
And I wouldn't trade a minute of it
The blood, the sweat, the tears, you can keep 'em comin'
The hurt, the pain, the fears, when we stood above 'em
And those failures helped shape who we'd become, and
And we didn't have much, but we had each other, and that was more than enough
When I was, fallin' apart you were there from the start
So you'll always have a piece of my heart, word up
Take me home, home
Take me home, home
Take me home, home
Home, home
Take me home, home
Home, home
You give me a feeling that I can't let go of
It's a collaboration in my soul
There's nothin' else I've found that makes me whole
You give me a feeling that I can't let go, oh
You give me a feeling that I can't let go of
It's a collaboration in my soul
There's nothin' else I've found that makes me whole
You give me a feeling that I can't let go, oh
The lyrics of AM’s song Home express nostalgia and appreciation for the enduring friendship between the singer and another person. The singer reflects on their youth when they used to spend countless hours listening to and creating music in a basement, and how they bonded over their shared love of hip hop. Though they faced many hardships, they persevered and stood by each other, “when times got tough,” and “were never good at givin' up.” The singer acknowledges the profound impact their friend has had on their life, giving them a sense of purpose and completeness; “You give me a feeling that I can't let go of/It's a collaboration in my soul/There's nothin' else I've found that makes me whole.”
In the second half of the song, the singer expresses gratitude for their friend’s unwavering support, even during their darkest moments. The music becomes more introspective and reflective as the singer recalls a time when they were struggling with something, and it was their friend who encouraged them to express their feelings by writing them down. That advice ultimately brought the singer closer to their faith and helped them find solace and purpose (“I'm here to burn 'till the lights out”). The song ends with the same sentiment expressed in the beginning, a plea to be taken back to the feeling of home, where they had each other and their shared love of music.
Overall, the song Home is a tribute to the power of long-lasting friendship, the comfort of shared memories, and the importance of having someone to lean on during difficult times.

I'm coming home
I'm coming home
Tell the world I'm coming home
Let the rain wash away, all the pain of yesterday
I know my kingdom awaits and they've forgiven my mistakes
I'm coming home
I'm coming home
Tell the world I'm coming
[Intro: Diddy]
I'm back where I belong
I never felt so strong
I feel like there's nothing I can't try
And if you feel me put your hands high
If you ever lost a light before, this one's for you
And you, the dreams are for you
[Verse 1]
I hear the "Tears of a Clown", I hate that song
I always feel like they're talking to me, when it comes on
Another day, another dawn
Another Keisha, nice to meet ya
Get the math, I'm gone
What am I supposed to do when the club lights come on?
It's easy to be Puff but it's harder to be Sean
What if my twins ask why I ain't marry their mom?
Damn, how do I respond?
What if my son stares with a face like my own
And says he wants to be like me when he's grown?
Shit! But I ain't finished growing
Another night, the inevitable prolongs
Another day, another dawn
Just tell Keisha and Teresa I'll be better in the morn'
Another lie that I carry on
I need to get back to the place where I belong
[Hook]
[Verse 2]
“A House Is Not a Home”, I hate this song
Is a house really a home when your loved ones is gone?
And niggas got the nerve to blame you for it
And you know you would have took the bullet if you saw it
But you felt it and still feel it
And money can't make up for it or conceal it
But you deal with it and you keep ballin'
Pour out some liquor, play ball and we keep ballin'
Baby, we've been living a sin cause we've been really in love
But when we've been living as friends
So you've been a guest in your own home
It's time to make your house your home
Pick up your phone, come on
[Hook]
[Verse 3]
“Ain’t No Stopping Us Now”, I love that song
Whenever it comes on, it makes me feel strong
I thought I told y'all that we won't stop
Til we back cruising through Harlem
These old blocks
It's what made me, saved me, drove me crazy
Drove me away then embraced me
Forgave me for all of my shortcomings
Welcome to my homecoming
Yeah, it's been a long time coming
Lot of fights, lot of scars, lot of bottles
Lot of cars, lot of ups, lot of downs
Made it back, lost my dog (miss you Big)
And here I stand, a better man
Thank you Lord
Thank you all!
