Aesthetic Perfection was formerly signed directly to Metropolis Records in the United States and Out of Line Records in Europe, until Graves decided to run it on his independent label Close to Human Records. Additionally, the band was licensed to Gravitator Records in Russia and Death Watch Asia in Japan.
The band's third album, All Beauty Destroyed, was released on November 4, 2011, in Europe and November 8, 2011, in the United States.
On March 29, 2019, Aesthetic Perfection released its sixth album, Into the Black. Unlike previous albums which were released by labels, Into the Black was self-released. According to Graves, this was an intentional move towards running the band free of label intervention, due to a belief that the label industry model was "dying".

Aesthetic Perfection Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
It's all sorcery,
She′s so sick,
So sick,
So sickening,
And she'll promise heaven,
Immortality,
There's no way,
No way she′ll let me leave.
I′m going back to my,
LAX,
LAX,
Won't turn my back on my,
LAX,
LAX,
Forever living the dream.
For her I suffer,
Love of my life,
We get down,
Get down,
Get down just to get high,
And the stars keep shining,
Fighting to stay alive,
They burn out,
Burn out,
Burn out before they die.
I′m going back to my,
LAX,
LAX,
Won't turn my back on my,
LAX,
LAX,
Forever living the dream.
Forever living the dream.
I′m going back to my,
LAX,
LAX,
Won't turn my back on my,
LAX,
LAX,
Forever living the dream.
Forever living the dream.
The lyrics of Aesthetic Perfection's "LAX" paint the picture of a toxic relationship. The singer acknowledges that the person they're involved with is not perfect, but there's something about them that keeps them trapped. The "sorcery" could represent the way the other person manipulates and controls the singer. Despite recognizing the sickness of the situation, the singer is unable to break away because of the other person's promises of "heaven" and "immortality." It's as if they're getting high off the relationship but in a destructive way. The stars shining and fighting to stay alive, but burning out before they die, speak to the fleeting nature of the intense emotions and experiences they share.
The chorus of the song is punctuated with the repetition of the word "LAX," which stands for Los Angeles International Airport. This could represent the singer's desire to escape from the toxic relationship and return to their home base. However, the repetition of the phrase "forever living the dream" suggests that there may be no escaping the allure of the toxic relationship, and that the singer is resigned to staying in this unhealthy cycle.
