After the Fall Lyrics

Has got in the mess
I'll be after we dug your grave
And then you're the best
I got that feeling in my chest
That took to comprehend
The pain inside my head
Have to say it goodbye
Goodbye to my best friend
I couldn't sit back and watch you die
I couldn't stand to know you were in pain
I wasn't brought back for this yet
But I know that I'll never forget
You give me standing how much they meant
You have the back if I ain't dead
In my heart and in my head
How could we forget
Pushed 'em out in stress
Has got in the mess
I'll be after we dug your grave
And then you're the best
I got that feeling in my chest
This house is so quiet now
Sometimes I still can hear you breathing
Or set you laying next to me
And I know you'll always be on my mind
I couldn't stand to know you were in pain
I wasn't brought back for this yet
But I know that I'll never forget
You give me standing how much they meant
The lyrics of After the Fall's song, Tilburg, depicts a story of a close friendship that eventually ends in tragedy. The first few lines suggest that the friend had been pushed out while under stress and had ended up in a mess. The singer had to dig his friend's grave and acknowledges that his friend had been the best. The pain inside the singer's head and broken heart suggests that his friend may have died young. The line, "Goodbye to my best friend" highlights the final farewell to a person that once meant everything.
The singer admits that he could not sit back and let his friend die as he could not stand to see him in pain. It is evident that the singer had been away from home and did not expect to return in such a harsh reality. The lyrics suggest that he had been brought back to say goodbye to his friend. The line, "This house is so quiet now/Sometimes I still can hear you breathing," further reinforces the pain of loss. The singer acknowledges that his friend will always be on his mind, and he will never forget him.
To sum up, the lyrics of Tilburg are a tribute to a close friend who died young. The song reflects the pain of loss and the struggle to come to terms with it.
