I have realized why this song is so good, and why so many people connect this song to the odagaron. It’s tells a full story. The begin chimes put you on edge and for a long time it plays out like a chase, making you anxious. Then it gets somber for a while, as if the hero has been pushed the edge and is giving up, then it picks back up and becomes heroic. This is basically the story of the Odagaron when people fight it. At first you are forced to run away from the story and t becomes a chase, and many players are kind of pushed to the because of the wild nature of the monster and how hard it can be to deal with the bleed effect, but then when you realize the beast is limping and you are so close then that’s when you feel heroic and like you can do it. This song is the player’s journey against one of the greatest turning point monsters in the game.
