0:00 - 0:50 the two main characters are introduced to one another, a friendship is slowly formed.
0:50 - 1:09 they start to notice something different about the other - the way their eyes sparkle, their smile, their laugh, every little detail is engraved in their mind(s)
1:09 - 1:31 slowly, feelings start to form and they’re barely thought on. lots of unknowingly mutual pining. (surely this is a normal best friend feeling)
1:31 - 1:40 with a jolt, character 1 realizes their feelings for their friend, pushes them away
1:41 - 1:51 character 2 realizes their feelings too but stays silent, not wanting to ruin their friendship
1:51 - 2:01 lots and lots of tension, mutual pining, many moments where they’re too close to one another. closer than best friends should be.
2:01 - 2:22 in an urge to suffocate their feelings for character 1, character 2 starts dating someone. character 1 is happy for character 2, but they start to grow distant
2:22 - 2:32 the main characters get into an argument. it’s heated and ends with character 1 on the floor of their apartment and character 2 walking home. they’re both in tears
2:33 - 3:03 they’re both alone, not speaking to each other. months pass - almost a year. both characters are extremely sad and want to apologize but just can’t make themselves do it. character 2 breaks up with their s/o. there’s a moment where they make eye contact in a grocery store isle, but character 2 leaves before any words can be said.
3:04 - 3:14 after a while, character 1 makes up their mind and decides to go see the other to apologize. they leave their apartment.
3:15 - 3:25 character 2 is sitting on their couch alone, they want to go see character 1 but they fear that 1 won’t want to see them after so long.
3:26 - 3:45 character 1 is rushing to character 2’s house, with each second they become more desperate and eager to get there
3:45 - 3:55 character 2 decides that they’re going to go see character 1, no matter the consequences
3:56 - 4:16 both characters are running, desperate to see the other
4:17 - 4:36 it starts to rain, between shots of the running it shows faded flashbacks of the characters when they weren’t fighting. it’s very emotional.
4:37 they both stop on the sidewalk, a few feet away from each other. it’s quiet
4:43 - 4:56 both characters hug and cry and wonder, “how could i have ever gone this long without this person?” they apologize to each other and walk back to character 2’s apartment. their hands brush a few times.
4:57 - 5:18 back in the apartment, they finally kiss. it’s awkward but soft and full of emotion and it says a thousand words. they sit together on the couch falling asleep in one another’s arms. both are happy.

0:00- it begins. You are there at your youngest memory - your most innocent. You smile to parents who are standing by your side.
0:28 - You begin to grow, going to your first school, making your first friends, Making your parents proud. You wake up early on a sunny day and go outside. The grass is green, the streets are buzzing with your friends. Your grandparents and parents play baseball with you. You arent very good yet, but you are only 5
0:49 - You grow some more. You’re 7 now. Youve lost your first tooth! Its snowing outside, you make snowmen with your friends. You smile and laugh. You throw snowballs, you were good at that.
1:10 Santa just came! You sit at the christmas tree around the presents with the snow gracefully falling outside. Your parents record as you scream with happiness seeing the new game you got. You are overjoyed.
1:30 - You are 10 now! You move to your next school, some friends go with you, but you leave many behind. You struggle to make new friends, but you still have your best friends that youve known for years with you.
1:42 - You go to the shops - Alone! Its only around the corner, but its the first time your parents allowed you to go alone. You return with your favourite bag of sweets.
1:50 - Life is perfect. You’re 11 now. The sun is shining and you go to the sea with your family. Your grandparents are old now, but they still get in the sea with you! Everyone is happy.
2:02 - 12 years old. You go to celebrate your birthday with your friends at a sleepover. You bring food and sweets - they do too! You stay up until midnight - you can’t believe you’ve been allowed to stay up this late!
2:12 - 13 Now! You’re finally a teenager! You get into sports and begin playing baseball much more with your family - just like the old days!
2:22 - You’re 14, you move schools again. You find a new game called call of duty. It says its an 18, but your parents wont care. You play it anyway, making new friends and getting good at the game.
2:33 - Your grandad passes. You sleep, eat and live in your room, playing video games all day. You would go and play with your friends, but they live far away, and its effort to go to them! You can just play with them online, right?
3:04 - 16 now. You sneak out late and drink with your friends. You remember the days that you were amazed at being allowed to stay up until midnight. You’d dance along to the song, and your eyes would click with a girl.
3:15 - You and the girl get together, she’s called sarah. You both laugh whilst hugging at night in an empty field, gazing at the stars. What more could you want?
3:34 - 18 Now. Sarah is pregnant with your first child. Your parents are supportive, but nothing is the same. You and sarah go and check the childs gender. Its a boy!
3:46 - You get ready, you’re about to turn 19. Your baby is almost due and your parents help you prepare your suit as you walk down the aisle to the girl of your dreams
3:56 - Married now, with a kid. You name him Tom. He’s about to turn 1. You’d go outside on a sunny day and take him to the park. You’d push him on the swings. You and your wife would laugh as the morning sun shone on you.
4:17 - Tom is 2 now. He’s taken his first steps, said his first words. Youd be proud of him, and the life youve created.
4:35 - A few years pass. He’s 5 now. You’d take him to the park with your old baseball bat. Your parents came too! You haven’t seen them in a while, but its for tom. Youd throw the baseball and he’d hit it. You’d instantly think back to the first time you played, back when you were 5. You’d think back at everything you missed. Time with your grandparents - time you cant bring back.
4:56 - Tom is 13 now. Hes just got his first video game. The baseball would collect dust in the corner of the Attic as you realise that history is repeating its self. You wish you could go back to the good old days, do it all again. But you can’t
