A hundred miles an hour, you can barely see me movin'
Gotta shorty waitin' for me that I been pursuin'
And I ain't got far to go
She a bad chick, somethin' I ain't tryna ruin
She's steady callin' so I know she ready to get to it
I'm tryna get there but I just can't seem to catch up to her
By the time I got there she was gone
So pretty, so gritty, so funny that noone's around
So I locked myself inside and closed the door
But there was this funny feeling inside that I couldn't get rid of
Then I sing it
[Chorus:]
Miss melody, who could she be?
Describin' me
All alone with my ears pressed against the wall
Miss melody, who could she be?
Describin' me
Alone with my ears pressed against the wall
Standin' in front of my window pane
The sound got me starin' at the rain
The more she play the more I feel the pain
Why is she doing this, was it a game?
Seems like she tryna take my soul away
Startin' to feel I'm under her control today
I can't see her but I hear her from the shade
And it seems like she really knows me
Every title makes me wanna run away
I can't take it no more, gotta get away
Got me talkin' about the dark nights in the cave
While she starin' at me
[Chorus:]
Miss melody, who could she be?
Describin' me
All alone with my ears pressed against the wall
Miss melody, who could she be?
Describin' me
Alone with my ears pressed against the wal
In Akon's song "Miss Melody", he describes a situation where he is rushing to go see a girl he has been pursuing. He describes her as a "bad chick" and he can't wait to be with her. However, when he finally arrives, she's gone and he goes upstairs to try and find her. He hears a sound coming from behind a locked door and presses his ear against the wall to listen. The sound is so beautiful and captivating that he can't help but be drawn in by it. He becomes anxious and starts to feel like he's under her control. He is left wondering who Miss Melody is and what she wants from him.
The lyrics of "Miss Melody" seem to explore the idea of being seduced by something that tickles our senses. It's like Akon is describing an experience where he was so caught up in the beauty of a sound that he was unable to resist it. The music itself is portrayed as having a power that is not only irresistible but also controlling. We see this in the repeated line "Alone with my ears pressed against the wall". It's like Akon is trapped by the music and unable to resist its pull.
Overall, "Miss Melody" is a song that explores love, seduction, and the power of music. Akon masterfully portrays the feeling of being lost in something that you find beautiful but also scary. The song is a testament to the power of music to move us and control us in ways that we may not even understand.

Actually, it's a fairly simple thing to play on the violin, easy notes. Saying that, and playing it myself, I couldn't do it, she makes the violin sing like no one can. I could play exactly those notes and I'd get arrested for mistreating a cat in heat

Akon is a great artist. This song reminds me of a dope track I heard a long time ago. Miri Ben-Ari is dope on the violin. OMG.
