DROP-DEAD , OVER-THE-TOP , FANTASTIC - this movie was the BEST WORK of everyone involved in it , and stands , easily , the test of time - IT'S STILL ONE OF THE GREATEST MOVIES EVER MADE - even including all the liberties it took with the book ! MASTERPIECE FROM MASTERPIECE !

The most beautiful movie ever made. You could not imagine it without the exquisite, heartbreaking theme music.

I love this book and the movie. It touched me in many ways, and this great piece of music captivates my emotions. I just can't explain how beautifull this is. In awe that humans can create this kind off dreamy, romantic, melancholic but longing type of music.
My favourite quote from the book:
"The entire world is a dreadful collection of memoranda that she did exist.. and that I have lost her! - Heathcliff about Kathy.
Life is beautiful.
