Et plus j'aime t′embrasser
Plus je t'enlace
Et plus j'aime t′enlacer
Le temps qui passe
Ne peut rien y changer
Mon cœur bat
Mais tout va bien
Quand tu reviens
Car plus je t'embrasse
Et plus j′aime t'embrasser
Je ne peux m′en lasser
Et j'en ai tellement envie
Que j′oublie tout dans la vie
C'est insensé
Ce que j'aime t′embrasser
Plus je t′embrasse
Et plus j'aime t′embrasser
Plus je t'enlace
Et plus j′aime t'enlacer
Le temps qui passe
Ne peut rien y changer
Mon cœur bat
Quand tu t′en vas
Mais tout va bien
Quand tu reviens
Car plus je t'embrasse
Et plus j'aime t′embrasser
Je ne peux m′en lasser
Et j'en ai tellement envie
Que j′oublie tout dans la vie
C'est insensé
Ce que j′aime t'embrasser
C′est insensé
Ce que j'aime t'embrasser
C′est insensé
Ce que j′aime t'embrasser
The lyrics to Alice Dona's song "Plus je t'embrasse" can be interpreted as a declaration of love and an admission of the singer's passion for their lover. The chorus, "Plus je t'embrasse, et plus j'aime t'embrasser" (The more I kiss you, the more I love kissing you), emphasizes the main theme of the song. The singer expresses their desire to be physically close to their significant other through lines such as "Je ne peux m'en lasser" (I can't get enough of it) and "Et j'en ai tellement envie" (And I want it so much). The song presents love as a physical feeling and focuses on the simple pleasure of kissing and embracing.
The second verse of the song introduces the idea that time cannot change the way the singer feels, as their heart beats faster when their lover leaves but everything is alright when they return. This emphasizes the significance of their lover's presence and their strong emotional connection. The repetition of the chorus reinforces the song's central theme while the line "C'est insensé ce que j'aime t'embrasser" (It's crazy how much I love kissing you) brings a sense of intensity to the singer's emotions.
