The band's next, The Fall of Ideals was released on July 11, 2006 to acclaim from all angles, including Kerrang! and Metal Hammer. The first video from the album was This Calling, which was featured on the soundtracks of both Masters of Horror II and Saw III. It was followed by The Air That I Breathe. Additionally, their song Six was featured on the Guitar Hero 2 game for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360.
On January 11, 2007, the band announced their new drummer, Jason Costa, previously of Diecast. 2007 also has seen the band's first US headlining tour, which also featured Misery Signals, The Human Abstract, Light This City, and Cellador. All That Remains also made a special appearance at the New Jersey show of Sounds of the Underground in 2007.
A third video from "The Fall of Ideals" for the song Not Alone was released in mid-2007. Also, the band's DVD, entitled "All That Remains Live", was released in November of 2007. Currently, the band is co-headlining on tour with trivium.
The bands fourth effort, Overcome, is a combination of hardcore screaming and clean singing, best example being a song for the hopeless. The cd is a departure from their previous efforts, but it can still be appreciated in many ways.
In addition, they have released three of their songs: This Calling, Chiron, and Two weeks, as a welcome addition to any rock band players library.
On October 17, 2018, guitarist Oli Herbert died from drowning from a prescription overdose. He was 44 years old.

Dead Wrong
All That Remains Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
You assume that you're my best friend
No life, just consume what you attach to
Failure, now hang on others and try to fill the hollow
Pathetic, weak, laughable
You live to follow wantless admiration
Validation, becomes an all consuming goal
Intruding nature, demanding one to play the role
You're not worth my time
Ya damn hanger on
You've got a long way to go
You're still dead wrong
Now dot the map, bring the gifts you offer
As a payment for your audience
Stand up, worship, bow down to your knees
Entrenched within a culture that exploits the offers
Relish in the excess
Pathetic your punishment we must endure
Validation becomes an all consuming goal
Intruding nature, demanding one to play the role
You're not worth my time
Ya damn hanger on
You've got a long way to go
You're still dead wrong
You know that trust can not be bought
And still know doubt of your return
You can't pretend to know my heart
And no we're not of the same cloth
You're not worth my time
Ya damn hanger on
You're got a long way to go
You're still dead wrong
The lyrics to All That Remains' song Dead Wrong speak to the idea of false friendship and the danger of seeking validation and admiration from others. The singer is addressing someone who assumes they are a close friend but in reality, they are just a consumer of the singer's time and energy. This person is described as pathetic and weak, living only to follow and seeking status at any cost, even if it means crawling on their knees. The singer sees through this behavior and is not willing to give this person their time, calling them a "damn hanger on" and saying they have a long way to go.
The song then shifts to critique the culture of those who seek attention and validation at any cost. The singer sees it as a punishment that they have to endure and acknowledges that trust cannot be bought. They reject this person's false attempt at friendship and acknowledge that they are not cut from the same cloth. Ultimately, the message of the song is that seeking validation and admiration from others will lead to a hollow and unfulfilling existence, and true friendship cannot be bought or forced.
