Ben Harper (originally in Yellowcard) joined Amber Pacific in 2006 and joined the recording of their 3rd studio album (Truth In Sincerity). Recording started on October 16, and Harper left the band before the end of the year.
At 4:30 AM on February 28, 2007 Amber Pacific stated on their MySpace blog that the new CD is finished. The singles released from Truth In Sincerity are titled “You’re Only Young Once” and “Fall Back into My Life” which appears on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles soundtrack. Truth In Sincerity was released on May 22, 2007.
On February 9, 2011 it was announced that Jesse would no longer be with the group; Matt Young would be rejoining the band as lead singer. My way without you here
I'm scared to let you go
I'm taking in the moments
Every little instance leaves me feeling breathless
Tired and alone
I can't let this go
I'm at my best when I still believe it
It's not the ending
A new beginning starts tonight
Chorus
All my life I fought this feeling
I can't fight this voice of reason
And it's hard to be a memory
The life that I loved has become undone
When it feels like hope has all been lost
Just focus on the ones who tell you'll be fine
I'll never leave your side
I'm here with you to try it
Try to just believe that you can make it right
You can sleep tonight
Pre-Chorus
Chorus
The song "Undone" by Amber Pacific feat. Mike Herrera is about the fear and uncertainty that comes with losing someone you love. The singer is struggling to let go of their loved one and is feeling lost and alone without them. Even the smallest moments remind them of their lost love and leave them feeling breathless and tired. They are holding onto the idea that a new beginning is possible and that they can make things right.
In the pre-chorus, the singer acknowledges that they are at their best when they believe in the possibility of a new beginning. They are holding onto hope and refusing to let the ending be the final word. The chorus further emphasizes the struggle of fighting against the voice of reason and the fear of becoming a memory. However, the song offers a message of hope and encouragement to focus on those who are still by your side and believe that things will be okay.
Overall, "Undone" is an emotional and introspective song that explores the complexities of loss and the search for hope and renewal.
