1. Ambrosia was a California, United States band formed by David Pack (guitars, vocals), Christopher North (keyboards), Burleigh Drummond (drums) and Joe Puerta (bass, vocals). On their self-titled LP in 1974, they blended quirky progressive rock with lush harmonies and scored hits with the offbeat song Nice, Nice, Very Nice and the ballad Holdin' on to Yesterday. Their subsequent albums focussed more and more on the pop ballads and less and less on the progressive elements, and while they had some success with singles, they called it quits after 1982's Road Island. Ambrosia re-formed in the late 90s and continue to tour and enterain their fans. A live CD Live at the Galaxy was released in 2002, and they are currently recording a new studio album that long time fans are hoping will be released in 2009.
2. Ambrosia was a Latvian hardcore punk band formed in Valmiera, Latvia in 2005.
The band has toured around Latvia and Estonia and became one of the best-known newcomers to the Latvian hardcore scene. Their music is also included on music compilation Latvian Hardcore Punk Volume 5.
Ambrosia split up in September 2011 and played one-off reunion show in July 2014.

3. Ambrosia was formed in summer 2008 by Adnan Čikotić and Hana Hadžajlić, who wanted to play brutal death metal. Soon Adnan Muratović and Hana's brother joined the band. After few rehearsals Hana's brother left the band and we had to seek for another drummer. In a few months the band had changed few drummers who played on the concerts. Later Edin Čehović joined as a second guitar player, and Boris Uložnik replaced Hana.

Make Us All Aware
Ambrosia Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Sad as the cry of my unanswered dreams
Long have I waited for time to make clear
All of the reasons that I must be here
But I won't care if you are there
Make us all aware
Wanting to taste of the wisdom it holds
Knowing that somewhere our fortunes we'll find
But fortunes are something we hold in our minds
We could share all that's there
Make us all aware
Seeking an answer yet harboring fear
The day that it comes, I'll no longer be here
But I won't care if you are there
I won't care
Make us all... oh
I won't care
Make us all aware
The lyrics of Ambrosia's song "Make Us All Aware" are a contemplation of the meaning of existence, the passage of time, and the pursuit of wisdom and fortune. The opening lines "Pale to the mountains my existence seems, Sad as the cry of my unanswered dreams" suggest a feeling of insignificance and unfulfilled aspirations. The singer appears to have been waiting a long time for something, possibly for a sense of purpose or direction in life, and seeks clarity on the meaning of their existence.
The second verse moves towards a more hopeful and proactive stance. The singer is drawn to the river, symbolizing the flow of life and the potential for finding wisdom and fortune. They recognize that such treasures are not external, but within their own minds. The lines "We could share all that's there, Make us all aware" express a desire for connection and community, and for the sharing of knowledge and insight.
