His music has been described as a blend of gothic rock, industrial, metal, EBM and 80βs influences into a modern, melodic electro-rock sound. Some reviewers have described it as βGothtronicaβ while Anders simply refers to it as βElectronic Rockβ.
Regardless of the genre you wish to classify his music, the listeners continue to grow worldwide on a daily basis. In 2007 Anders was nominated for βBand of the Yearβ by Gothic Beauty Magazine readers alongside Lacuna Coil, Skinny Puppy, and an artist he lists as one of his earliest influences, Gary Numan.
Over the last few years, his fan base has crossed over into the horror film genre, where he has contributed music to over 12 films. The Horror network, FearNet.com referred to Andersβ work as βwickedly inventiveβ while Pseudopod.org, the worldβs premier horror fiction podcast has used Andersβ "Bloodletting On the Kissβ as their show opening for the past 4 years.
Anders has performed at many festivals and dark music events such as Convergence, The Ann Rice Halloween Ball, Black Sun Festival, Goth Stock, Eccentric Festival, Cirque Macabre, Bar Sinister and multiple performances at the infamous βDraculaβs Ballβ event in Philadelphia.
In 2008, Andersβ single, βThere Will Be Bloodβ climbed to the top 20 of the German Alternative Music (or DAC) Charts, which prompted him to pursue more opportunities outside the USA. In 2009, he signed with Danse Macabre Records in Europe. His first official worldwide release βInfinite Gaze to the Sunβ is expected to be released in January of 2010.

Them
Anders Manga Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I've been labeled as the wanted since I left all recourse
I've been waiting in the corners on the left of an all time low
I've been sheltered by the madness on the course of time borrowed
Time borrowed
I got a woman yelling heaven with all of her eight legs spread
I got another spinning tangles to devour and seeing red
Raise the horror, raise the Creeps
Raise the horror, raise the Creeps
Raise the horror, raise the Creeps
Once again, what will be left of them?
Raise the horror, raise the creeps
Raise the horror, raise the creeps
Raise the horror, raise the creeps
Once again, what will be left of them?
What will be left... of them?
What will be left... of them?
What will be left of...
Raise the horror, raise the creeps
Raise the horror, raise the creeps
Raise the horror, raise the creeps
Once again, what will be left of them?
The lyrics to Anders Manga's song "Them" are dark and ominous. The first verse begins with the singer stating that they have a loaded .45 and no remorse. It is implied that they have been labelled as wanted since they left "all recourse." They have been waiting in the corners and are "sheltered by the madness on the course of time borrowed." The use of the word "borrowed" suggests that the singer is running out of time and is perhaps on borrowed time. It is evident that the singer has a past that they are not proud of and that it has caught up with them in some way.
The second verse describes the singer's situation in more detail. There is a woman screaming about heaven with her "eight legs" spread. This could be a metaphor for someone who is manipulative or controlling. There is also another person who is "spinning tangles to devour," which could also be a metaphor for someone who is deceitful or plotting against the singer. It is clear that all intentions are dead, which means that there is no hope to change the situation.
The chorus is repeated several times, with the singer calling for the horror to be raised and the creeps to be raised. They question what will be left of "them," which could refer to the people that the singer is talking about in the previous verses. The song ends with the singer asking what will be left of "them," as the horror and the creeps continue to be raised.
