A versatile composer, he is unable to be pinned down to any one genre of music. As a producer he has created work for companies such as WWF, US Bank and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet; as a songwriter and performer he has toured 6 countries. Last fall he worked with Emily Haines of Metric to create a music and video installation piece at The Four Seasons Centre in Toronto.
Huang developed a near-cult following in his early twenties as the creative force behind Songs To Wear Pants To, an online musical comedy project that invites anyone to send him instructions for songs - of which he's created over 600 since 2004.
More recently he has become a well-known YouTube personality, his self-produced content and grassroots approach garnering him over 6 million views in the past year alone. With more by-request musical exploits, dialogues created from user submissions, and eccentric, time-intense pieces - watch him create a beat with 1000 pairs of jeans! - his work continues to hit a sweet spot between sound, picture and audience interaction.
Sara

and we're mind-linked, yeah
and we're mind-linked, yeah
i love her in her black and white stripes and berets
and i don't care about anything else, not anything else
she doesn't smile much, but when she does, i want to kiss her face
these were the best years of my life
sara, be mine
you know that it's time
you're all on my mind, you're all i'm thinking of
sara, be mine
you know that we'll shine
there's no one beside you i could ever love
sara, be mine
her name is sara
and she loves to dance
and she loves to dance
wish i could hold her ever closer in this bliss
this is our era
oh this is our time
oh this is our time
and i just want it to stand still and stay like this
with all these days what could we do
being with you is all that i want, all that's true, woah
sara, be mine
you know that it's time
you're all on my mind, you're all i'm thinking of
sara, be mine
you know that we'll shine
there's no one beside you i could ever love
sara, be mine
you know if it were up to me
it'd be 'til the end of time
oh i don't know how you put up with me
your touch is magic
you can do anything at all
(she can do anything)
and it's automatic
i'll always be there when you call
(i'll be there for you)
it would be so tragic to be apart, to be alone
to be without you, to have nowhere to call home
sara, be mine
you know that it's time
you're all on my mind, you're all i'm thinking of
sara, be mine
you know that we'll shine
there's no one beside you i could ever love
sara, be mine
you know if it were up to me
it'd be 'til the end of time
but i don't know how you'd put up with me
i need somewhere to call home
The lyrics of Andrew Huang's song Sara appear to be about a person named Sara whom the singer has a deep emotional attachment to. The opening lines of the song suggest that they share a psychic bond and this bond is what holds them together. The lyrics speak about how the singer is smitten by Sara's looks and the way she dresses up in black and white stripes and berets. The singer is completely in awe of Sara and doesn't care about anything else in life. He further explains that even though she doesn't smile often, the moments when she does smile makes him want to kiss her face.
The chorus of the Sara is a promise from the singer to Sara that they will be together forever. He tells Sara that she is always on his mind and that she is the only person he could ever love. The song emphasizes the importance of being together and sharing moments of happiness as they have during their time together. The bridges of the song express how much the singer cares about Sara and how it would be tragic to be without her. The song concludes with a melancholy plea for a place to call home, presumably with Sara.
