She Looked Like Death
Andrew Landon Lyrics

One, two, three, four
She looked like death
Pale blue eyes staring upwards towards a sky that seemed never ending
A sky that seemed all knowing
Unlike her
She flashed a smile
One flash with a lack of emotion that I have never seen
A look of guilt
A look of concern
A look only she can pull off on a day like this
And I stood up
Stand point of my body as we held hands and looked together
And for a second I thought I saw God
But I realized I was wrong
It was a cloud hiding the dull sunlight
And it was then that I realized that this was the last time we would see each other
It was the last time we would get to hold hands
The last time I would get to tell you it will be alright
The last time I would see you alive
It was then that I realized the meaning of perfect
It was a day like this, in a place right here
With our pinkies locked without a care of the world
And as you faded I smiled and knew you'd be alright
She looked like death
Hands clammy and sweat dripping from the tip of her nose
She fell into my open arms like an apple falling from a tree
As her breath slowed her heart stopped
I lost touch
I lost touch with all reality
I couldn't cry as hard as I wanted to
I knew you'd be in a better place
One without concern one without hate
A place I hoped to visit as soon as I could
And it was then that I realized this was the last time I could see you
The last time I could brush back your hair
The last time I could tell you I would be alright
The last seconds you would be alive
And it was then I realized that perfect exist
But only on a day like this in a place right here
With your head on my shoulders
And my eyes directed above
And as you faded I smiled and knew you would be alright
So let's keep living, let's keep hoping, let's keep breathing
Let's keep breathing
Let's keep living, let's keep hoping, let's keep breathing so that we can exist

And if we hope, we will die alone
We will die alone

Overall Meaning

The song "She looked like death" by Andrew Landon is a powerful and emotional piece that explores the fleeting nature of life and love. The song tells the story of a couple's final moments together as one of them passes away. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of the scene, describing the pale blue eyes of the dying person staring towards a never-ending sky, and the lack of emotion in their smile. The singer realizes that this is the last time they will be together, and after the person dies, they reflect on the meaning of perfection and hope.

The song's themes are universal, and the lyrics are easy to connect with for anyone who has ever lost someone they loved. The use of vivid imagery and emotive language helps to convey the sense of loss and grief that the singer is feeling. The repetition of the phrase "Let's keep living, let's keep hoping, let's keep breathing" towards the end of the song serves as a reminder that even in the midst of intense pain and sadness, there is still life to be lived and hope to be found.

A few years ago when Myspace was popular I listened to music on Andrew Landon's page. The voices in his songs all sounded different and the styles were different. I'm glad I finally know who wrote all of the music because there were quite a few songs I thought were really nice! It's unfortunate that some people may still not know who the original artists are though. Do you think that it actually helped to put your name out there more?

sorry for your unfortunate hacking. I do wish i knew any info on this "andrew landon" i was a huge fan of his poetry and i followed him to a point where i donated money to him raising money for heart surgery. I wonder if hes still around writing.

@mariawhite4011

Can we find the early version anywhere??? The one that’s playing in the background of this video

@burningpewter

jewell i am sorry to see your hard earned money went to an internet scammer. i can guarantee you that they never actually had heart surgery. there is a lot behind this whole persona "Andrew Landon," and most of it is disturbing and sad. Thanks a lot, and I hope you are well.

@Branjama

@kylemistake Yeah and that's probably not the way you want to make fans hahaThat's great though. It looks like you're done touring now? I wish I could become a famous hula hooper and perform at festivals and never wash my hair again.
