Too Heavy
Andrew Landon Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
In the tell tale silence
Look through the pane of the window
Everything's the same
But it feels so different inside
And I know that you can almost change my mind
If I could only leave the horrid life behind
It's the clever dream that saved you freely
Gives his life so that were made holy
But you'll never be a martyr
You are not the one who is dying slowly inside
And I know that you can almost change my mind
If I could only leave the horrid life behind
And I feel it every time I close my eyes
That I may love you every day until I die
These eyes are heavy
These eyes are heavy
These eyes are heavy
These eyes are heavy
In Andrew Landon's song Too Heavy, the lyrics paint a picture of a person who feels trapped in the mundane routine of life. Despite everything around them appearing the same, they feel a sense of heaviness inside. The sense of dissatisfaction is further exacerbated by the realization that someone they care about has the power to change their mind, but the weight of their current situation is too heavy to bear. The clever dream referred to in the song is a source of hope that can offer salvation, but the person singing the song fears that they will never become a martyr and are helpless in their struggle. In the end, the burden is so overwhelming that their eyes feel heavy, symbolizing the weight of their situation.

So your going to say the other million singers who do covers are 'stealing songs'. This is how Andrew Landon got recognized, by Cover songs and how a million others have also.

andrew landon did not set out with the intentions of "stealing" songs. he became popular by doing covers over his myspace account so these songs are just what he became famous for. they are just songs that he, himself, enjoyed and wanted to sing. music should be made to belong to everyone. most of you are acting like he is malicious, deceitful person but its not a big secret that jeremy had this song first...

Jeremy Larson. It's off of his self-titled album back in 2007 or so. This ignorant emos who claim it's a cover...it's NOT. It's an exact copy of Larson's track.
