Don't forget the words a wise king said.
Records breathing when you′re living, and others's dreams that only pave their way
When you embrace your pain, do not look out the other way.
Tonight I'm gonna save one more time
Some days you′re gonna cry, cry, cr-cr cry
Find a way and you'll do it again
Your heart will mend
Your future′s not here, it's inside.
You′ll see it when you say well, bye, bye, bye
I know what I want
I know what it takes
Bittersweet, we've retained.
A little sleep, complacent dreams will crush you while you fantasise success
Remember the words she said
Be the one the world won′t forget.
Tonight I'm gonna save one more time
Some days you're gonna cry, cry, cr-cr cry
You′ll fall and get up
Find a way and you′ll do it again
Your heart will mend
Your future's not here, it′s inside.
You'll see it when you say well, bye, bye, bye
I know what I want
I know what it takes
Bittersweet, we′ve retained.
Big dreams don't mean nothing if you′re not willing to give up comfort for shame
Big dreams don't mean nothing if it's not gonna bring you some kind of change
This world was meant to work together
Not to think you′re better
Not to think you′re better.
Tonight I'm gonna save one more time
Some days you′re gonna cry, cry, cr-cr cry
You'll fall and get up
Find a way and you′ll do it again
Your heart will mend
Your future's not here, it′s inside.

The lyrics of Annette Moreno's song "Bittersweet" talk about the struggles of chasing your dreams and the pain you may encounter along the way. The first verse describes how sometimes being around too many people can make you feel overwhelmed and trapped. The lyrics advise the listener not to ignore the wisdom of others who have already been through tough times. The second verse addresses the importance of moving forward and facing your hardships head-on, rather than burying them.
The chorus emphasizes the cyclical nature of life, where you will have good and bad days but ultimately, you will overcome your pain and mend your heart. The lyrics encourage the listener to embrace their future, even if it may not be clear or easy. The repetition of "I know what I want, I know what it takes, bittersweet, we've retained" reaffirms the strength and determination it takes to chase your dreams.
The bridge expresses the idea that big dreams are worth pursuing, but you must be willing to leave your comfort zone and sacrifice in order to achieve them. The last two lines of the bridge emphasize the importance of unity and the dangers of thinking you are better than others.
Overall, "Bittersweet" is a motivational song that encourages listeners to chase their dreams even when faced with obstacles, acknowledging that the journey may be difficult at times.
