Anthrax's lineup has changed numerous times over their career, leaving Ian as the only constant member of the band. The band has had a revolving cast of singers and lead guitarists, including Neil Turbin, John Bush, Dan Spitz and Rob Caggiano. Since 2013, the band has consisted of Ian, drummer Charlie Benante, bassist Frank Bello, vocalist Joey Belladonna and lead guitarist Jonathan Donais. Ian and Benante (who replaced one-time drummer Greg D'Angelo in 1983) are the only two members to appear on every album, while Bello has been a member of Anthrax since 1984, replacing original bassist Dan Lilker. After two stints in Anthrax, from 1984 to 1992 and again from 2005 to 2007, Belladonna returned to the band in 2010.

Room for One More
Anthrax Lyrics

Your heart is cured now, you're normal once again
One confession, you thought that's all it took
But redemption, doesn't let you off the hook
One of us
Can't erase the past to change who he would be
One of us
Not from me
Hear me say
One more
Chance to believe in
That you can even the score
One more
Place at the table
Always room for one more
Room for one more
Thinking evil, is that just your normal gig
Fueled by hatred, happy as a stuffed pig
You're so lonely, everyone around you reeks
Of indifference, thriving in their apathy
One of us
Can't erase the past to change who he would be
One of us
On a whim would act, then look for sympathy
Not from me
Hear me say
One more
Chance to believe in
That you can even the score
One more
Place at the table
Always room for one more
One more
Chance to believe in
That you can even the score
One more
Place at the table
Always room for one more
Room for one more
Your schism, my distress
Your failure is my success
Squeezed out, kept me down
What goes around comes around
I can wait you out
Patience is my virtue
Call it payback, call it proper grounds
What goes around always comes around, always comes around
Hear me say
One more
Chance to believe in
That you can even the score
One more
Place at the table
Always room for one more
One more
Chance to believe in
That you can even the score
One more
Place at the table
Always room for one more
Room for one more
Always room for one more
The song "Room For One More" by Anthrax speaks about redemption and second chances. It starts with an individual who believes that fixing their mental state and confessing their wrongdoings will bring redemption and absolve them of their past actions. However, redemption is not that simple, and it does not let one off the hook quickly. The song then progresses to the feelings of the individual addressing the people around them, highlighting the indifference and apathy they face. The individual realizes that they cannot change their past, but they crave a chance to change and even the score, and they believe that there is always room for one more at the table, indicating that people should have second chances.
In the bridge, the song touches on the individual's experiences and feelings of distress, which occurred due to others' failures. The individual understands that patience is essential to getting their second chance, and while they wait, they believe that they will get proper grounds to prove themselves. The song ends with the individual asking for one more chance, one more place at the table, saying that there is always room for one more.
Overall, the song is about second chances, redemption, and the desire to change oneself for the better. It also addresses the importance of acknowledging the feelings of others and the impact one's actions have on people around them.
