Pienso agarrarme fuerte a mi momento
The lyrics of "Es Mi Momento" by Antonio Orozco capture the essence of waiting for one's moment to arrive while reflecting on past failures and doubts. The first stanza describes the singer being "posted" in the garden of the universe, kneeling and waiting for their moment to come. They are hopeful that their dreams will come true, and the moment will be perfect, with the right framing. However, the character also expresses doubts about whether the actions they take will lead to success, reflecting on moments when they missed or failed to catch the proverbial "train."
The following stanza continues the singer's contemplation of their doubts and fears, as they consider grappling onto their moment when it finally arrives, to avoid being swallowed up by a metaphorical storm. The character declares their intention to reject the idea of selling out or compromising themselves while they wait for their moment. They hope for perfect days, where inspiration abounds, and the future seems less uncertain. The singer then sheds their armor, leaving only love, hope, and themselves to face their moment.
