Lost Woman Found
Arca Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I'm looking for a miracle
I'm looking for a miracle
I'm looking for a miracle
To cast down my fears

I'm looking for a miracle
I've been walking, so lost
And it feels like the road
But it's the first time I feel the sun's warmth on my skin
'Cause it's my own now

Lost woman found
You waited for my time to come home
And (?) I've found a miracle
We're changing, come light
And change in the (?) that is light
Let me wait for you
I finally have something to say

You can't find out on your own
What it means to be mutant

What it means to recognize the alien inside
The abject

“Lost Woman Found”

[Lyrics]
I'm looking for a miracle
I'm looking for a miracle
Girl, I'm looking for a miracle
To cast down my fears
Million legged centipede

And girl, I'm looking for a miracle
I've been walking, so lost
And it feels like the road
It’s the first time I feel the sun’s warmth on my skin
'Cause it’s my own now
It is my own now

Lost woman found
Waiting for my time to come
And girl, I've found a miracle
The changing kind
And change in kind warm that is light
Let me heal inside
I finally have something to say

You can't find out on your own
What it means to be mutant
What it means to recognize the alien inside
The abject, erect
Hoping to let you go

This has been a hard year for me. I've been on hormones the past year, battling dysphoria and trying so hard to live fully as my self. Arca's music speaks to me on another level, the same way SOPHIE's music does. I can only imagine the journey Arca has been on through her art, but I relate to it so much. I also found her inside and can't let go 😊

@madamemars2219

Ugh, Theres an unfillable void now that Sophie is no longer with us on Earth. But I’m so glad artists like Arca exist to carry the torch and rep the girls the way they deserve it.

@roselonardo9584

@Madame Mars I knowww 😢 it makes me so sad. I would always check to see if she had more music out. I definitely feel the spirit of Sophie in Arca's music too though.
