In 2013, Architects parted with Century Media, self-releasing the documentary One Hundred Days: The Story of Architects Almost World Tour and joining Epitaph Records. They released their sixth album Lost Forever // Lost Together through the label in 2014, achieving widespread critical acclaim which has lasted since. Soon after the release of their follow-up All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us in 2016, principal guitarist and songwriter Tom Searle died after three years of living with skin cancer. In September 2017, the band released the single "Doomsday"—the last song that he was working on before his death—and announced Josh Middleton of Sylosis as their new lead guitarist. The single is included on their new album Holy Hell, which was released in November 2018 and is their first written without Searle.
All members of the band are vegan, having turned to veganism after watching several documentaries on the subject. They also promote the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, with Carter being one of its British ambassadors.

3) Architects (also ArchitectsKCMO) is also the name used by a Kansas City Soul Rock band who've released 4 albums (Keys To The Building 2005, Revenge 2006, Vice 2007 and The Hard Way 2009). They were formed from the ashes of Hellcat Records (and later Thick Records) Ska/Pop/Rock band The Gadjits. The Architects sound is a mature version of the later Gadjits material, dropping all ska influence for a Springsteen & The Who sounding rock approach. They are currently signed to Skeleton Crew Records.
Do You Dream Of Armageddon?
Architects Lyrics

'Til its roots reach down to hell
Will we ever learn our lesson?
We all fall in parallel
No tree can grow to heaven
'Til its roots reach down to hell
Will we ever learn our lesson?
Don't bury the confession
There's a light behind the shell
Do you dream of Armageddon
Just to get yourself to heaven?
We all fall in parallel
We all fall in parallel
We all fall in parallel
We all fall in parallel
We all fall in parallel
The lyrics of Architects’ “Do You Dream Of Armageddon?” paints a picture of the balance of life and death, the fall of humanity and the possibility of redemption. The first verse offers a metaphorical perspective on life; it suggests that one cannot achieve greatness without acknowledging the dark parts of their nature. To reach the sky or achieve righteousness, one must recognize and confront the depths of their sins. The second verse makes a reference to a confession and implies that there’s hope behind every darkness. The “light behind the shell” is a representation of the goodness that remains deep within even the most broken of people. The chorus repeats the phrase “We all fall in parallel.” This may imply that humans are inescapably bound to a shared fate of falling, but with the possibility of salvation.
The lyrics of “Do You Dream of Armageddon?” can be interpreted as a warning message to society, implying that humanity should strive for redemption and not repeat the same mistakes that led to its downfall. The song's lyrics combine philosophical and theological themes with contemporary social issues, such as climate change, political corruption, and societal injustice. The lyrics speak of the fall of humanity and the possibility of redemption, urging society to recognize its faults and address them.

Been listening to these guys for years. One of the more “thoughtful” bands out there, with lyrics to match the intricacy of their overall sound. Outstanding.
