The older I get, I feel like I′m always tryna save time
As I age, I feel as though I'm constantly attempting to be more efficient with my time

I have inner dialogue that causes me to second-guess my thoughts and actions

Tellin′ me it doesn't mean it′s wrong because it feels right
My inner voice tells me that something isn't necessarily wrong just because it doesn't feel right

I'm scared that one day I wake up and wonder where the time go
I'm afraid that one day I'll realize that time has passed me by too quickly

Talk about the past like it′s the present while I rock slow
In my old age, I fear I'll look back on the past as if it's still happening while I sit around doing nothing

I'll sit in the living room and laugh with kids of my own
One day, I hope to sit with my own children and share laughter and joy

I hope that my children will learn from my experiences and not make the same mistakes I did
