While MacIsaac's fiddle-playing is entirely traditional, he sets it in contemporary rock songs with hip hop and dance elements.
His greatest mainstream success in Canada was his 1995 album Hiâ„¢ How Are You Today?, featuring the hit single "Sleepy Maggie," with vocals in Gaelic by Mary Jane Lamond.

My dad is a Greek immigrant and played the spoons for an Irish band in the 70's in Montreal for a while. This reminds me of his talents. He's 66 now and still rocks the spoons for his grand children! God bless the Irish! Lotsa love from the Greeks!😘
