El Camino
Attaque 77 Lyrics

Llegamos a destino.
The opening lines of Attaque 77's song El Camino urge the listener to escape the constant noise and chaos of the world, and instead take a moment to witness the beauty of nature, in this case, the sunrise. The urgency to seek solace from the chaos is emphasized by the repetition of the phrase "vayamos a ver salir el sol" which translates to "let's go watch the sunrise." The singer acknowledges that they've lived through a lot and seen too much death, but the brightness of the sun, the promise of a new day, is a reminder that hope still prevails.
However, as they take a road trip on the highway, the singer realizes how ubiquitous virtual reality has become, with constant images and faces on the windows. The sameness and monotony of these images represent the dullness of daily life. The singer finds a glimmer of hope in a voice of perseverance near the roadside, indicating that despite the virtual reality and the monotony, there may still be hope for a better tomorrow. They reach their destination, where the singer dreams that everything they had seen and experienced up until this point was just a dream, awakening to find themselves in another layer of the dream, alongside those who have yet to wake up to their reality.
The overall message in El Camino is that amidst the chaos of daily life, there is always hope, and it is important to take a moment to appreciate the simple things and to listen for the voices of perseverance to remind us to keep going despite the adversity we may face.
