Just you and me
And we can dance all night long forever
Like it's a fantasy, ooh baby
Look, I don't know you are name
Don't know where you're from
But I want to know
Are you willing to come with me
On the way to heaven
Girl if you decide to come with me
That's where we're goin'
So all aboard, ready or not
Make up your mind
Tell me what you got
To lose baby choose
Cause want to take you to heaven
When we get there you will be treated
Just like a queen
And I'l fulfill all of you desires
And your wildest dreams, ooh baby
Look, I don't know you are name
Don't know where you're from
But I want to know
Are you willing to come with me
Cause I can get to know you
On the way to heaven
Girl if you decide to come with me
That's where we're goin'
So all aboard, ready or not
Make up your mind
Tell me what you got
To lose baby choose
Cause want to take you to heaven
What's up, what's up
What's up, what's up
I can ease your mind
What's up, what's up
What's up, what's up
I got nothing but time
What's up, what's up
What's up, what's up
You need what I got
What's up, what's up
Is you comin or not
Look, I don't know you are name
Don't know where you're from
But I want to know
Are you willing to come with me
Cause I can get to know you
On the way to heaven
Girl if you decide to come with me
That's where we're goin
So all aboard, ready or not
Make up your mind
Tell me what you got
To lose baby choose
Cause want to take you to heaven
What's up, what's up
What's up, what's up
I can ease your mind
What's up, what's up
What's up, what's up
I got nothing but time
What's up, what's up
What's up, what's up
You need what I got
What's up, what's up
Is you comin' or not
Cause I can get to know you
On the way to heaven
Girl if you decide to come with me
That's where we're goin'
So all aboard, ready or not
Make up your mind
Tell me what you got
To lose baby choose
Cause want to take you to heaven
The lyrics to Avant’s song “Heaven” express a desire for connection and intimacy through the metaphor of a journey to heaven. The singer sings to an unknown person, expressing an interest in getting to know them and inviting them to come along on the journey, promising to treat them like a queen and fulfill their desires. Despite not knowing the person’s name or where they’re from, the singer is willing to take a chance and get to know them on the way to their destination. By using the imagery of heaven, the singer is painting a picture of a perfect place where they can experience love and bliss with their partner.
The song’s lyrics also suggest that there may be some hesitation or reluctance on the part of the unknown person. The singer repeatedly asks them to make up their mind, telling them to choose and asking what they have to lose. The repetition of “what’s up, what’s up” implies a sense of urgency and the need for a response. The lyrics suggest that the singer is pursuing an intimate connection and may be willing to put in the work to get to know the other person, but that the decision to join them on this journey ultimately rests with the other person.
In conclusion, the lyrics to Avant’s “Heaven” are about the pursuit of love and intimacy in the context of a journey to a perfect place. The singer is inviting an unknown person to join them on this journey, promising to treat them well and fulfill their desires. The song encapsulates the excitement and uncertainty of falling in love, and the importance of taking a chance on a connection that could lead to something greater.

@Jmallj
This reminds me of college. My 2 roommates and I had 1 stereo system in the house and we used to bang the Private Room album in the living room to entertain our lady friends that we had in our rooms.
