Amazing
B.C. Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
With nothing to prove
Your right in the middle
Of someone I once knew
Feels better to sin
Since I'm not with you
Your letting me in
Just give me something to prove
Your letting me in when you knew I would break
Break, give me something to break
Look in the mirror and then severe the page
I must commend all your devilish ways
Hard to admit that's it's better this way
Where to begin on this minimum wage
If it never will end then I never will change
I will change Switch my lane
All my will got packed inside
This suitcase it's part of the game
How I feel is trapped in time it's too late
We painted a picture with no where to frame
Predict my own exit I'm forecasting reign
Your letting me in
With nothing to prove
Your right in the middle
Of someone I once knew
Feels better to sin
Since I'm not with you
Your letting me in
Just give me something to prove
They said it takes time
Got to count all the days
What travels in my mind
I gotta learn how to say
I'm gonna wait up thinking of you
Nothing to say and nothing to do
You're letting me in so where do I walk
Covered in sin it's all my fault
And I'm so confused
Missing the pieces in the puzzle of you
Living my life so day to day
I'll listen this time okay, okay
Telling me what you came to say
Her voice is like a razor blade
Teach me how to pray today
Don't wanna sing amazing grace
Sticking to the prophecy
Remember what ya promised me?
Anything you wanna be
When you're living honestly
I got it, probably
There is no stopping me
No animosity
But there is a part of me
Thinks you may lie to me
There's a dichotomy
From your philosophy
And how it's got to be
Let me think Socrates
Into the odyssey
Been couple times this week
That is not a lot to me
Dealing the demons baby
That's the way I gotta sing
They said it takes time
Got to count all the days
What travels in my mind
I gotta learn how to say
I'm gonna wait up thinking of you
Nothing to say and nothing to do
You're letting me in so where do I walk
Covered in sin it's all my fault
And I'm so confused
Missing the pieces in the puzzle of you
In the song "Amazing" by B.C., the lyrics explore themes of temptation, self-reflection, and the struggle to move on from a past relationship. The opening lines, "Your letting me in with nothing to prove, Your right in the middle of someone I once knew," suggest that the singer is being allowed access to the inner thoughts and emotions of their former partner. This revelation leads to a desire for validation and proof from the other person, as the singer pleads, "Just give me something to prove."
The chorus highlights the conflict within the singer, as they find solace in indulging in sinful behavior while acknowledging that being away from their ex-partner feels better in some way. The lyrics also touch upon the idea of change and the difficulty in breaking free from old patterns, as the singer declares, "If it never will end then I never will change, I will change switch my lane."
The second verse delves deeper into the singer's internal struggle. They express confusion and yearning for their ex-partner, while also recognizing their own shortcomings and mistakes. The line "Covered in sin, it's all my fault" portrays a sense of guilt and remorse.
Overall, "Amazing" by B.C. offers a glimpse into the complexity of emotions experienced after a breakup, including longing, desire for validation, and the challenge of self-reflection and growth.

You were correct at the very end about there being tons of more comparable places to visit in BC, but your selections were excellent in this video, and I really like your relaxed and easy-going narration. If you were to do an expanded or part 2 version of this video may I suggest remote and hugeTweedsmuir Provincial Park, the ferry route along the Inside Passage coastal waterway from northern Vancouver Island to Prince Rupert just south of the Alaska panhandle, The Fraser and Thompson River Canyons along highway 1 from the town of Hope to the interior city of Kamloops, and for the truly adventurous, a guided group horseback or river raft experience in one of northern BC's giant wilderness parks where you will not see another human for weeks.......... almost guaranteed !

Thanks so much! Yes so much more to explore and weβd love to visit those places you mention! Maybe weβll have to do a part 2 soon ππ

I live in the interior of BC, the amount of hikes, attractions, and parks is a lot more than anyone can do in their lifetime. Every year I keep finding new really amazing places that are known by almost nobody. The possibilities here are endless

I live on Vancouver island, love the interior and have thought about moving there many times...easier on the arthritis too.

I'm pretty sure there are places in BC that no human has seen in hundreds of years and maybe even some that have never been seen by a human at all.
World Wild Hearts
Totally!! Some of the nature is so inaccessible!
The Great Gazoo
@World Wild Hearts One place that freaked me out a bit was the old mining town of Bralorne. It's roughly the same distance from Vancouver as Kamloops. It takes about 4 hours to go from Van to Kam. It can take up to 24 hours to get to Bralorne, depending on time of year and conditions...

lived in BC Vancouver for three years and I miss it so incredibly much. Unfortunately had to leave but I hope to be back soon so I can explore more of this beautiful place. Truly felt like home there, especially the nature and the people are great too <3 Love the diversity
