I haven't heard of any of them, except for Diffie and I knew of Roy from Siegfried and Roy. My condolences to all, it is hard losing a family member, friend, or even your furry kid! We do need to pay tribute as well, to every single Doctor and Nurse, and anyone who is on the front lines literally risking their lives to save people. What would this world do without highly trained professionals that don't hesitate treating the worse of the worst afflicted. The Spanish Flu killed so many people in this country, and the world, because medical science was not nearly advanced as it is today. They didn't know about sterilizing instruments, washing hands or replenishing the body with vital fluids when they became dehydrated through vomiting or diarrhea. If Covid 19 was a pandemic back then, we would have lost millions as well. God bless our Doctors, nurses and entire medical teams for being on the front lines of this battle.

This is heartbreaking. A few that I didn't know, but they're lives were well lived and they were loved. Floyd Cardoz and Joe Diffie were favorites of mine. I cried when 'Pick-up Man' passed. I still can't hardly believe it. I wonder if he had any at risk conditions and that triggered him being so sick?

For a while I was doing OK with all of the news of people dying from the pandemic… It was starting to stress me out but I didn’t realize how much until I found out (a month after it happened) that Adam Slezenger from Fountains Of Wayne had passed away

I didn’t find it out from this video it was about a couple of weeks ago… But for whatever reason… Finding out that he had passed away just was the last straw… I listen to two fountains of Wayne Way back in like 1997… Right after a really horrible break up with my high school sweetheart several months prior in fall of 1996. They are one of my favorite bands… Not like my top 10 list but… I really like their music… And after I found out he had died… I just sat down on my bed, listen to the song called life in quarantine by one of the people from death cab for cutie and cried my heart out like I had lost my best friend…

I personally don’t know anyone who has come down with a virus but I know friends who have lost family members and looking at all of the families and people who have died on television gets to you after a while… I also felt truly horrible for my kids because their school year and it’s so weirdly… I guess all of that and frustrations and everything just came to a point in finding out he had died I was just the last straw. If I react that way to a band I mostly like Heaven help me if somebody like Ben folds or Sufjan Stevens or iron and wine becomes another terrible number on the death count for this pandemic… If anything happened to those people that would really kick me in the head…. Clearly not as much as if a family member or a friend who is a victim of the pandemic I’m just talking out of all of the music people I like…

My grandpa died and was completely healthy… in his 80s… about 15 years ago… natural causes. It’s not abnormal for people in their 80s to pass away… and it’s no secret that you go into the hospital and don’t come out. Hospitals get money for covid deaths.

Allan Merrill passed away the same day as John Prine. He was the lead singer of the "Arrows" credited for writing "I love Rock n' Roll" The song that made Joan Jett famous. I havnt watched some of the movies these ppl are in but even then I know who they are, so it’s weird ppl keep saying they’ve never heard of them. Especially Star Wars which is pretty popular. It’s sad that many have lost their lives due to this virus. It’s a real thing. And it’s something to be taken seriously. I currently have several friends who are sick and family who’ve just recovered. I’ve also had a lot of friends and family who have passed due to this virus. This year has been hell. I’m currently sick myself. Not sure if it’s related to Covid bc they refuse to test me since I don’t have a fever or cough. Even though I’ve told them I was sick for 2 months after flying back to California from Oregon to be with my dad before he passed away. It was the worst head cold and cough I’ve ever had. Now I’m dealing with sudden heart issues. I’m passing out and my heart rate rests at 115. Which isn’t good. I’m 33 years old, I have two little girls and a husband who works both at the prisons and hospitals. He also works at the border to Mexico. I’ve left the house only to go to doctors appts or the hospital. I havnt been anywhere else in two months. It’s frustrating to say the least. If you’ve lost a loved one I’m sorry. Viruses don’t discriminate, you could be a healthy 20 year old and still lose your life. You could be an unhealthy 80 year old and survive. You just never know. So be kind to others and be considerate of others when you leave your home.

Ventilators are the kids of death. I spent all of Sept of last year in the hospital. 3 days in they were insisting that if I didn't let them put me on a ventilator I'd be dead in 24hrs. Yeah, I declined because the 4 patients that died while I was there were ALL on ventilators.
I went with a rigorous dosing of IV steroids.
It saved my life.

Irish psychiatrist Dr Ivor Browne, who at 92 years old can talk about such things without fear of being savaged on social media, made the comment that many of the old people who died in care homes from covid 19 were better off. Many of these bed bound old folk have no quality of life whatsoever. Browne himself is fit and healthy at 92, but he said he wouldn't mind going now as he has lived long enough. In any case may all these people, old or not so old, rest in peace.

Never heard of any of them, but any death is sad to someone, family, friends, but the average lifespan is now 78.8, however many are living into their 80's, even 90's and a few early 100's. So they are fortunate to have longevity in their genes! We all live and we all die, but I hope mine is in my sleep! I can't imagine not being able to breathe like with COVID virus, although I suppose they are sedated by that time, before the end. RIP to all.
