I know this is all for a bit of fun, but I think you guys should play your own Open. Get Fryer to join you. Use caddies, no Bushnells, and play at a previous Open course. Full on 4 rounds and have prizes. Invite local fans. I would watch the heck out of that! Cheers!

Why do you guys film your course vlogs on a DSLR? The image quality is excellent but I'm sure the vast majority of viewers would prefer faster focus while zooming that a good quality video camera will provide over the shallow depth of field that you're getting through your DSLR. I'm loving the content that you all provide, but the slow focus on these Open Qualifying course vlogs make it unwatchable.

As I watched Crossfield's latest course vlog, I did notice the focusing was seamless during zooming with his videocam. I don't recall Rick & Pete's videos ever being as blurry as these recent ones, so maybe they just need time to figure out the new zoom lens or else use the old one.

A DSLR with a mic attached isn't exactly something you can slip in your back pocket though - if they're going to use a camera as big as the DSLR they're using, why not got all out and get a decent video camera that's designed to keep focused while zooming like they need? They good quality video cameras are only marginally bigger than the DSLR these guys use.

In fairness it was a one off, usually the focussing and picture is very good. Lets all agree that the auto focus was too slow and didn't work and move on!

Agree, whilst the golf is good fun, the video work was annoying, zooming to see nothing happening, must improve or I'll stop watching.

Using a DSLR and zooming in on the flag like they do is never going to work consistently well. They need to invest in a good quality video camera. I hope it doesn't take them missing a hole in one due to slow zoom for them to realise it.
