Jimmy Donohue The general idea of it is a bit similar. The main character in this killed his wife, his brother, and himself. In Stan the main character killed his wife who was pregnant and himself. Both main characters did it out of some sort of obsession. This songs was obsession over his girlfriend and the obsession in Stan over a rapper. Both songs also led to the ultimate death of the main character.
So in conclusion they're definitely not the same but they are similar.
