In 2010, The Movie Archives's Takaaki Shingyoji and Yuki Tanabe formed BRADIO with Soichi Ohyama (ex-GOLD END), Ryosuke Sakai (ex-GOLD END), and Takahiro Kitazawa (ex-Awesome Dude). That same year in December, they released their first demo and played in their first live. In April 2012, they released their second demo. In June 2012, Takahiro left the band and they were left with the current line up.
They signed with D&S RECORDS and released their first mini album, DIAMOND POPS, in October 2013. BRADIO released their second mini album, Swipe Times, in July 2014 under HERO MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT. Their first single Otona Hit Parade/Step In Time was released in November 2014. At the beginning of 2015, their single, Flyers, was used as the opening theme song for the anime Death Parade.

このBRADIOというグループは、なんというか、
鳥肌が立つような、心の底からゾクゾクするような感覚を与えてくれた、

I've been listening to this music for quite sometime now, and it's great to hear this music making a good comeback. I listen to everything, from metal, to dance, to country, etc. There are very few bands bold enough to go into the disco/jazz/R&B/soulfunk with this type of edge these days. The fact that BRADIO does it with seeming such ease makes it all the more infectious. Please continue to bring new music to the world. It's great to see many new fans get into this music. My parents grew up with bands like Tower of Power, Marvin Gaye, Earth Wind & Fire, Average White Band, and so on, so I'm very familiar with the warm jazz tempo and soul that comes from all of it. Thank you for bringing it forward, and at the same time, taking it back to an old school place of plush, vinyl, and soft shag carpet. Keep rockin'!

TOWER MOFOS! ToP is one of my all time funk favorites man. You can find all kinds of funk influenced r&b, funk rock and stuff, but it's been a long time since I've heard something with bradio's purity. They better keep it comin
