Looking back from afar you kinda think 'how?' but then remember the atmosphere and memories this brings back. I actually remember getting off the train in Morecambe, probably around 84, and some guy had it booming out from a ghetto blaster on the platform on the way to the allnighter!

Kenny Scott, who was behind "The Baltimore and Ohio Marching Band", wrote this one, which was recorded in 1967, during the same sessions as "Lapland", and other sides which made up the group's only album [for some reason, this was NOT included on that album].

Let's face it, if this was unknown and you came across it in a pile of records, you wouldn't give it the time of day, but how wrong could you be! I'm not the biggest instrumental fan in the world, but this is pure class! Great upload!
