In 1989, Banda Los Recoditos was formed with a group of young students who joined their musical knowledge. The band's name came from the fact that some of them are children of members of the Banda el Recodo, a very well known Mexican band, formed by Cruz Lizárraga.
Lizárraga invited the boys to participate in a party held for a family friend, José Ángel Espinoza Ferrusquilla, who was recognized by naming a street in the port of Mazatlan. That these young musicians caught the attention of attendees and Ferrusquilla itself and between the two came up with the name of the group: Banda Sinaloense Los Recoditos.
They began working in the traditional celebrations of Mazatlan and surroundings, growing in popularity among the people of that region. His young age and music delivery in Sinaloa, the public recognized as the first youth band from the Pacific Coast. The band recorded their first album A Bailar de Caballito. and soon they were promoting their material in the United States. Following this, some members of the band began their solo careers, Pancho Barraza,[2] and Alfonso Lizárraga joining Banda el Recodo.
In 1998, for a whim of Alfonso Lopez, the name was taken from them having to change that value to "Banda Vuelta De Río" with this name was recorded 3 productions, two normal and one with previously recorded hits as Los Recoditos, finally in 2001, the band returned but with the name of Banda Los RCS (Banda Ritmo Con Sabor Sinaloense) until 2004 when they regained their original name.
Banda los Recoditos regrouped in 2004 with vocalists Carlos Perez, Luis Angel Franco, and Carlos Sarabia and with a new style that appealed to the emerging Regional Mexican youth market. In 2005 the group was awarded Popular Breakthrough of the Year at the Premios Oye! for Si No Existieras, the third album by the new lineup. In the wake of this acclaim Banda los Recoditos teamed up with parent group Banda el Recodo and released Dos Generaciones. In 2010, the band release ¡Ando Bien Pedo!, an album that peaked at number-one in the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart, with their same titled single reaching the top of the Latin Songs chart. On September 19, 2010 Luis Angel Franco singer of the band announced that they will release a new album later 2010 or 2011

De fiesta en fiesta voy
Voy bailando punta
El ritmo que es mejor
Todos en la fiesta
Empiezan a bailar
Voy bailando punta
El ritmo que es mejor
Bailo con mi negra
Y empiezo a bailar
El ritmo de punta
Que es sensacional.
Fiesta, fiesta, yo quiero más fiesta
Quiero divertirme y olvidarlo todo
Fiesta, fiesta, yo quiero más fiesta
Quiero divertirme y olvidarlo todo.
Fiesta, fiesta, yo quiero más fiesta
Quiero divertirme y olvidarlo todo
Fiesta, fiesta, yo quiero más fiesta
Quiero divertirme y olvidarlo todo.
¡Fiesta!
The lyrics to Banda Los Recoditos's song Fiesta are all about the desire to have a good time and forget about everything else. The singer is going from party to party, dancing to the rhythm of punta, which is a popular dance style in Latin America. He encourages everyone to join in the fun and dance along to the sensacional rhythm. The repeated phrase "fiesta, fiesta, yo quiero más fiesta" emphasizes the desire for more and more celebration, as the singer wants to get lost in the joy of the moment and forget all of his worries.
The chorus is a call to forget about everything else and just enjoy the party, giving in to the music and dancing rhythmically. The verses focus on the specific dance style of punta, which involves a lot of hip and waist movement, as the singer describes how he will dance it with his partner, known colloquially as "mi negra". The overall message of the song is about the power of music and dance to provide an escape from daily life, to let go and enjoy the moment.
