2) Battery is a thrash metal band from Denmark and was formed in febuary 2008 by Chris, Andreas and former rhythm guitarist Dennis, shortly after the demise of their former band Abattoir.
The first rehearsal demo was recorded in 2008 and pressed on tape in 15 copies given to friends.
Shortly after, Dennis left the band and the band went on ice until the summer of 2009 when Jannick joined as both first and current bass player.
In 2009 the demo “Born In a Beaker” was recorded and released by the band itself in 100 copies on tape, and was spread throughout the Danish underground paving the way for the first gigs – the first being with Crematoria and Pagan Rites in April 2010, and the second in July at the Metal Magic Festival – accompanied by Atziluth on Live-guitar.
Atziluth was soon replaced by Jeppe Campradt until the summer of 2011 where Jeppe became the current rythm-guitarist in Battery.
2011 saw the first release on Deadbangers Productions (also the last release as a 3-piece) entitled “NUKE” which was distributed and sold far beyond Denmark, and soon followed up by the EP “Mental Pollution“, also on tape by/through Deadbangers Productions.
2014 will see the release of the first full-length album by Punishment 18 Records, containing 10 tracks of frantic and intense Thrashing Speed-Metal fury!!

Battery Lyrics

You could make me smile
And how
You could make me laugh
I felt so safe
I loved you more with each breath
But how
The way
You pushed me out
It's time to come back around
It's time to let you know that
I hope you hurt as much as me.
This love turns to hate
I watch you make the same mistakes
Now that I've pulled through
I hope it all comes back to you
When you're cut wide open
When you're feeling broken
Maybe then you'll see
(Just how much you fucked with me)
The lyrics of Battery's song "Aftermath" describe the experience of being in a loving relationship that turns sour and ends in heartache. The singer begins by recalling the positive aspects of the past relationship, how their partner could make them smile and laugh, and how safe they felt in their presence. However, things have changed, and the partner has pushed the singer out of their life. The singer expresses a desire for their former partner to feel the pain that they are experiencing, suggesting that this person has made mistakes that have hurt them deeply.
The chorus of the song reflects the bitterness and anger that the singer feels towards their former partner. Their love has turned to hate, and they take satisfaction in watching their former lover make the same mistakes over and over again. The singer hopes that the pain they have endured will eventually be visited upon their former partner, and they express a desire to see this person suffer.
