Folding Chairs
Batts Lyrics
I just bought some folding chairs
And a table that has folding legs
I'm getting rid of all my shit
There's piles and piles and piles of it
I read a book on clearing out
It's meant to rid me of all doubt
I've started yoga up again
It's meant to help me be all zen
But as I lay there on my mat
You enter my thoughts
Stop doing that
I'm tired
I'm tired
Listen to some Bon Iver
Invite some of my friends over
Drink some wine
And eat some cheese
All I want to do is please
Working hard for no return
I unfold my chair and sit to learn
What the hell am I to do
There is no way of pleasing you
I'm tired
I'm tired
Working hard for no return
I unfold my chair and sit to learn
I look around and nothing's here
Now I am riddled with fear
I read a book on clearing out
And now I am filled with self doubt
Nothing I do is good enough
Pack it up I've had enough
And a table that has folding legs
I'm getting rid of all my shit
There's piles and piles and piles of it
I read a book on clearing out
It's meant to rid me of all doubt
I've started yoga up again
It's meant to help me be all zen
But as I lay there on my mat
Stop doing that
I'm tired
I'm tired
Listen to some Bon Iver
Invite some of my friends over
Drink some wine
And eat some cheese
All I want to do is please
Working hard for no return
I unfold my chair and sit to learn
What the hell am I to do
There is no way of pleasing you

Pack it up I've had enough
