"The Mob Song" is a pivotal scene in Beauty and the Beast, where the villagers are convinced that the Beast is dangerous and must be killed. "The Beast will make off with your children, He'll come after them in the night” Gaston sings, exploiting the villagers' fear and rage to turn them against the Beast. They march to the castle and begin to attack, while Belle and the Beast try to keep everyone at bay.
