In 2005, drummer Joey Daub and guitarist/vocalist Kurt Bachman began to write again. They eventually reformed Believer with new members Jeff King, Elton Nestler and Kevin Leaman. "Gabriel", was released March 17, 2009 on Howard Jones' (of Killswitch Engage) Cesspool Recordings imprint on Metal Blade Records. Their newest albums entitled "Transhuman" was released in 2011, featuring a less thrashy and more avant-garde style.

Stop the madness
Believer Lyrics

Brainwashed by this decaying world
Always searching to belong
Endless fear of being alone
Line by line
I watch you die
Too blind to see
Weary from the boring routine
The dependency grows
Taught to listen to the wise
But only heard the fools
Body once unscarred
Now being murdered by stupidity
Realization of the truth
Brings freedom in captivity
Believer's song "Stop the Madness" delves into the topic of conformity and the dangers of blindly following the norm. The opening lines, "Just an ignorant child, brainwashed by this decaying world," resonates with many who have felt trapped in societal pressures and ideals. The yearning for acceptance is a common human desire, but the fear of being isolated can lead to the neglect of personal beliefs and values. The chorus line, "Line by line, I watch you die, too blind to see, your shattered dreams," indicates the harsh reality of how easy it is to lose oneself in the conformity trap.
The second verse highlights the repetitiveness of societal norms and how it leads to a complacent lifestyle. The dependency on following the rules is portrayed as a negative aspect that eventually stomps out creativity and individuality. The pre-chorus line, "Taught to listen to the wise, but only heard the fools," hints at the possibility of misdirection that often arises in following rules set by society.
The final verse suggests that finally realizing the truth about conformity would bring liberation from its captivity. The line, "Body once unscarred now being murdered by stupidity," indicates the tragedy of taking on a lifestyle that does not resonate with one's true self. In conclusion, Believer's "Stop the Madness" is an insightful criticism of conformity and a plea for personal conviction and individuality.
