1. Formed by Nagy Feró and Németh Alajos in 1982, Budapest, Hungary, Bikini is one of the most successful Hungarian rock band of the eighties. Nagy Feró's (also known as "the cockroach of the nation", as he called himself) former punk band, the legendary Beatrice split up in 1982, after having serious problems with communist authorities, when they formed this band.
The band music and lyrics was, like much of the communist era, filled with hidden meanings against the oppression. With Nagy Feró in the front of the Bikini they produced two studio albums, which were very progressive, post modern punk rock albums. Their debut was "Hová lett?" (1983), followed by the "XX. századi híradó" (1984) one year later. However as the eroding of Hungarian communist regime became more obvious and faster, Feró left the Bikini for reuniting the Beatrice.
In 1985 D. Nagy Lajos arrived to the band as a lead singer, when they progressed to a more accessible and melodic rock sound, and produced legendary and very successful hit songs like "Közeli helyeken" or "Ki visz haza?", which are still very popular and often played in Hungary. The band split up in 1992 but reunited in 1997.
Members are: D. Nagy Lajos, Németh Alajos, Lukács Peta, Mihalik Viktor, Makovics Dénes, Bördén Szabolcs.
Some former members are:
Nagy Feró (vocals 1982-85), Vedres Joe (guitar 1982-91, 1997-1998), Németh Gábor (drums, 1982-1985), Berecz Endre (drums, 1989-1991), Hirleman Bertalan (drums, 1985-1989, 1997-1998), Gallai Péter (keyboards 1985-2003), Daczi Zsolt (guitar 1991-2004), Csillag Endre (guitars 2004-2006), Kató Zoltán (saxophone, 1989-1998).

2. Bikini (electro-pop dance music duo) is Nigel Diamond and Olivier Olivier. Their music is like Salinger on MDMA. Diamond is originally from Miami and Olivier was classically trained at the Royal Conservatory.
Olivier Olivier is the son of the late Indian poet Fateh Bains and moved to Canada where he attended Glen-Lyon Norfolk School, a school chosen for its musical program affiliated with the Royal Conservatory of Music. It was here Olivier met Nigel Diamond, who was sent down after he was expelled from his previous school.
It wasn’t until after Glen-Lyon Norfolk that the two began to make music together. Olivier composes all the melodies in the fall of each year, drawing his inspiration from the poetry he writes during the summer. He records vocals, exports all his drafts without titles or form to Diamond. Diamond spends the following spring arranging Olivier's melodies, rhythm sequences and vocal treatments, adding his own lines. The result is a finished record. Nothing is sent back to Olivier. The songs are then sent from Diamond to be mastered and released.

Hogy egy napon visszajössz hozzám.
Képek, amiket itt hagytál nekem,
Egy emlék már, mely még mindig él.
2. Ha rossz perceim vissza-vissza térnek,
Ha véletlenül megtalállak téged,
Nézlek, és én már semmit nem értek,
R. "Mielőtt végleg elmegyek,
Kapsz egy képet rólam,
Ha hiányzom ezt mindig nézheted,
Szét is tépheted."
3. Egy szürke fal, egy rádió, egy asztal,
Egy nagy trikó, ezt még tőled kaptam,
Képek, én már semmit nem értek,
Hogy búcsúzóul miért mondtad nekem:
R., R.
The lyrics of Bikini's song "Mielőtt elmegyek" is a poignant expression of longing and regret for a past lover. The opening verse describes the singer's loneliness and how they dream of the lover returning to them someday. The images left behind by the lover are still alive in the singer's memory as a cherished memory. The second verse acknowledges that even though time has passed, and the singer may stumble upon the lover accidentally, they don't understand why the lover said goodbye in the first place. The chorus then comes in, with the lover giving a parting gift in the form of a picture. The singer can look at the picture whenever they miss the lover, and tear it up if they want to. The third verse describes the items like the radio, table, and shirt that the lover gave to the singer, which now have lost their meaning as the lover is gone.
The song's haunting and melancholic melody beautifully captures the singer's emotions. The lines "Ha rossz perceim vissza-vissza térnek" (if bad moments return) and "Hogy búcsúzóul miért mondtad nekem" (why did you say goodbye) perfectly convey the pain of missing someone who was once very close. The chorus's lyrics are particularly notable, with the lover giving a picture as a final parting gift, a symbol of keeping the memories close even if they've moved on.

Elég, ha a gugliba beírod, hogy "bikini chords", vagy "bikini tab", és tucatnyi gitáros oldalt dob fel, ahol megtalálható. Próbáld meg barréval játszani, ne csak "sima" C, F, G, Am legyen. Sok sikert a gyakorláshoz! :)
