Gianni Bini started off in the late eighties, spinning the decks all over Italy, before turning his hand, in 1990, to recording. He chanced across another likeminded fellow in the shape of Fulvio Perniola and the Fathers of Sound were created. After grabbing the Italian dance scene by the horns, Fathers of Sound attracted the attention of such UK luminaries as Sasha, John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Pete Tong and Danny Rampling and thus, the entry into the UK and worldwide scene was complete.
Paolo Martini apparently had a taste for all things beats from an early age. He bought his first single at the age of thirteen - the classic 'Sound Of Philadelphia' by MF.S.B. A role model for all Italian DJs, Paolo began servin' up the tunes in the early eighties, but it was a chance meeting with DJ Alfredo in 1988 that really turned the tide for Paolo. Alfredo was then resident at Amnesia in Ibiza and responsible for bringing the first batch of house music over to Italy. Paolo embraced the genre and has never looked back, paving the way for other aspiring DJs willing to follow in his footsteps. In recognition of his achievements, Diesel Jeans chose him to promote their wares and Radio Italia invited him to start up a weekly dance programme 'Mastermix'.
Fast forward to 2000 and to what's in store for the two of them. The first House of Glass single 'Take Me Over' was released to worldwide acclaim, followed smartly by a Bini & Martini release 'Dancing With You'. With the new House of Glass tune 'Playin' With My Mind' ripe for release any time now, the future is looking bellissima in the Italian orchard.

I think it's something I feel,
It's something unreal.
And so I see my world is upside down,
But there is nothing I fear, babe,
My vision is clear,
My vision is clear,
My vision is clear,
My vision is clear.
I need you, you-hu,
I need you, you-hu,
I need you, you-hu,
I need you, you-hu.
And so I see my world is upside down,
But there is nothing I fear,
My vision is clear,
My vision is clear,
My vision is clear.
It's happiness, just around the bend.
It's happiness, just around the bend.
Oh, I need you.
I need you,
I need you (you-hu)
And only you
I need you (you-hu)
And only you
I need you (you-hu)
And only you
The lyrics to Bini & Martini's song "Happiness" convey the idea that the singer has something unreal going around inside his head, and as a result, his world is turned upside down. Despite this fact, he expresses that he has no fear and that his vision is clear. The chorus of the song is a repetitive assertion of his need for someone else, particularly the phrase "I need you," which is repeated several times. The overall message of the song is that happiness is just around the bend, and the singer believes that obtaining this happiness is possible with the support of their significant other.
The lyrics to this song can be interpreted in several ways. It could be about the singer's devotion and love to a romantic partner who supports them through tough times. Alternatively, the song could also be about the singer's search for meaning and purpose in life, with the "something unreal" they feel being a sense of existential dread or anxiety. In either case, the message of the song is one of optimism and the belief that happiness is achievable with a supportive partner by their side.

There's something going round inside my head,
I am experiencing a sensation within my mind
I think it's something I feel,
I believe the sensation is an emotion
It's something unreal.
However, the emotion feels surreal or dreamlike
And so I see my world is upside down,
As a result, I perceive my reality as inverted or chaotic
But there is nothing I fear, babe,
Despite this, I am unafraid
My vision is clear,
I have a distinct and lucid outlook on my situation
I need you, you-hu,
I strongly desire your presence
And so I see my world is upside down,
Even though my perspective is askew
But there is nothing I fear,
I remain untroubled
It's happiness, just around the bend.
I believe that joy is imminent
Oh, I need you.
My yearning for you persists
And only you
No one else
I need you (you-hu)
I desperately require your companionship
And only you
Exclusively you
