Pleasure Is All Mine
Bjork Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

The pleasure is all mine
To get to be the generous one
Is the strongest stance

The pleasure is all mine
To finally let go and evenly
Be flown
Who gives most
Who gives most
Who gives most

The pleasure is all mine
Women like us
We strengthen most host-like

When in doubt, give

When in doubt, give
When in doubt, give

In a thousand years people will maybe realize how important this is! A celestial music...

Björk on working with vocal collaborators for the Medúlla album:
"It really felt great to work with people who sing. To watch them go through the usual vocalist things like battle dry vocal chords and how private it is to sing some of your first takes of songs. How sensitive it is what time of the day you sing and all sort of stuff I have usually secretly carried by myself. It felt totally different from anything I have ever done. More natural and effortless. I liked all of us to make any special noises we could on the new album. Sometimes there's a kind of weave or blend where nobody is more important than anybody else; other times I wanted each singer to have a sort of solo."

Indeed!

BjorksMusic

Yes, I too consider the voices as music, that's what makes Bjork even more cherished for having made an album void of all instruments, except for the instrument of vocal chords.

BjorksMusic

Yes, that's what I was expressing.
