Bo's first album, titled The Real Thing, was released on December 13th, 2005. It includes several original songs on which Bo shares writing credit such as “It’s My Life”, which Bo wrote with Clif Magness and Kara DioGuardi.
Bo's second album, "See The Light" was released October 23, 2007. It was recorded in his own studio, and under his own independent record label, Sugar Money (teamed up with StratArt for that project). The album was co-produced by Bo and Frank Liddell. The songs (all written by Bo, some in collaboration with friends) reflect a diverse spectrum--from all-out southern rock, country, funk, to emotional ballads.
Nothing Without You
Bo Bice Lyrics

Come on, come on, come on
Tell me what's on your mind
It doesn't matter, baby what I say
You never seemed to hear me anyway
When push comes to shove
It's never enough
[Chorus]
How could I live
Why would I try
I could learn to live without you
But that's a lie
No giving in
Or saying goodbye
All comes down to one thing
That all of this means nothing without you
All of this means nothing without you
I thought I saw you reach out
Thought I saw you try
Waiting here for something, nothing's all I find
Kneeling at your alter alter, standing on the shore
Ready now to listen, I'm outside your door
When push comes to shove
It's never enough
It always comes down to something
[Chorus]
I won't give up, I'm not giving in
No, cause you all know I won't let you down
How could I live
Why would I try
I could learn to live without
But I would die
No giving in
Or saying goodbye
All comes down to one thing
That all of this means nothing without you
Why would I try
I could learn to live without you
But that's a lie
No giving in
Or saying goodbye
All comes down to one thing
That all of this means nothing without you
All of this means nothing without you
Bo Bice's song "Nothing Without You" is a heartfelt ballad that speaks to the theme of love and devotion. The first verse emphasizes the frustration of trying to communicate with someone who is constantly distant or disinterested. The singer feels like he's tried a thousand times to reach his lover, but she never hears him. He's at a loss for what to do to make her listen.
The chorus emphasizes just how important this relationship is to the singer. He asks himself how he could ever live or try without her, even though he knows it's a lie to say he could learn to live without her. He won't give up on her, however. He's not giving in, and he won't let her down. All of this, however, underscores just how empty his life would be without her.
The second verse takes a more positive tone, as the singer thinks he sees his lover reaching out to him. He's been waiting, but he's finding nothing. He's ready to listen to her, though, and is waiting outside her door. The chorus repeats, emphasizing just how lost and incomplete the singer would be without his lover.
One of the notable things about this song is how it showcases Bo Bice's impressive vocal range. It's also notable that the song was co-written by rocker Jon Bon Jovi. The song was released in 2006 as part of Bice's second album, and it reached #2 on the Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary charts.
