They combine a genuine ease in each other's musical company with an energetic, skilfully crafted sound. Their songs play host to winding tales, journeying through light and shade. Expect an intricate set woven with strings and vocal harmonies, layered with an ever-expanding collection of instruments.
They have supported Slow Club, Willy Mason and Johnny Flynn, as well as playing festivals such as Truck, Y Not, 2000 Trees and Moseley Folk Festival. They have toured with Dog Is Dead, Gemma Hayes and Hot Feet, and recently joined Jim Lockey And The Solemn Sun and Devon Sproule for dates on their UK tours. Crossroads, Grassmarket and Loyal Light EPs have paved the way for more a substantial future release.
Their new single Tightrope will be released on 10th February 2014 on their own label, Nocturne Records, available on 7-inch vinyl and digital download.

Love this song. Takes me back to 2000 trees festival years ago. Weather was terrible and there was soo much mud and water that the power kept cutting through their set. The band jumped off stage and stood in the centre of the tent and played last few tracks acoustically in the round with the crowd circled around them - absolutely magical and a moment that still remains with me years later

Love this. Saw them for the first time at Moseley Folk festival. I can safely say it won't be the last time !! Saw the bass player the next day at the festival but was too nervous to talk to him (I'm 36).
