Line them motherfucking lames up
Tell them step they motherfucking game up
Step their motherfucking game up
My day ones never changed up
Bad bitch need no makeup
But sheโ€™s still beating her face up
She gonโ€™ fuck around and get the boy kid
Fuck it Iโ€™ll take that pay cut
Yaโ€™ll canโ€™t fuck with what I make up
And I made this shit up right here
โ€œTo Infiityโ€ฆโ€™ Buzz Lightyear
This is my year, yeah
Peel the top off, itโ€™s a titty car
No bottle service, itโ€™s a titty bar
Chain heavy, thatโ€™s some cold shit
She ainโ€™t fucking with me? Thatโ€™s a whole bitch
Presidential, thatโ€™s the whole wrist
I ainโ€™t gotta tell yaโ€™ll Iโ€™m focused
I ainโ€™t gotta tell you the whole squad lit
And we putting all yaโ€™ll on notice
Line them motherfucking lames up
Tell them step they motherfucking game up
Step their motherfucking game up
My day ones never changed up
Bad bitch need no makeup
But sheโ€™s still beating her face up
She gonโ€™ fuck around and get the boy kid
Fuck it Iโ€™ll take that pay cut
My squad, ETโ€™s
Young Bulls, 3 peat
Straight green, GWAP Clique
H up, top lift
The team is a force like Ginyu
And my flowโ€™s on Wayne Gretzky
Itโ€™s locked and I ainโ€™t letting shit go
Like Jay-Z on a jet ski
Flow get lost like Khaled do
Flow might snap, no filtered shit
Hoes wanna ride, tell them โ€œkick rocksโ€
Yaโ€™ll donโ€™t want to see your boy on that pimp shit
On my Chef Boyar B shit
In the kitchen in a mink tho
When yaโ€™ll niggaz cook, itโ€™s like E-Z Bake
When I cook, itโ€™s like a pot and a hill of blow
Niggaz not in Paris, but gorillas tho
These hoes getting curved like banana clips
Iโ€™m trying to lay back on a beachfront
Smoking mad cubans in Havana shit
Spin the Wheel Of Fortune moving Vanna shit
Yaโ€™ll little fucks couldnโ€™t manage it
Shout out to my niggaz in the trenches still
Working wheels, we about to do some damage bitch
Line them motherfucking lames up
Tell them step they motherfucking game up
Step their motherfucking game up
My day ones never changed up
Bad bitch need no makeup
But sheโ€™s still beating her face up

She gonโ€™ fuck around and get the boy kid
Fuck it Iโ€™ll take that pay cut

Overall Meaning

The song "The Game" by Bob and Doug McKenzie is a reflective piece about the future and what it holds. The lyrics evoke a sense of wonder, excitement, and apprehension about the future. In the song, the singer confronts their fears and embraces the unknown, taking comfort in the idea that they are not alone in their uncertainty and that they can shape their own future. The song encourages listeners to face the future with courage and to take control of their destiny, rather than letting events play out without their input.

The lyrics touch on several themes that are relevant today, such as anxiety about the future, the importance of faith, and the need to take action in order to shape one's own destiny. The song encourages listeners to embrace uncertainty and to see it as an opportunity rather than a threat. The use of repetition in the chorus reinforces the idea that the fears and uncertainties that individuals face about the future are shared by many others, creating a sense of solidarity and community.

They were basically mocking the American impression of Canadians, and then Americans started basing their Canadian impressions on Bob and Doug McKenzie, which was a satire of how the Americans thought Canadians talked and... I've gone cross-eyed...

Making me want to watch Austin Powers now..

Billy Bandyk

@deadNdivine12 So ironic; Mike Myers is Canadian also. Please check out "Wayne's World". U'll get the true essence of what represents CANADA!!!!!!

Granby Music Productions

nice Austin Powers reference.

Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis told the story behind these characters a lot: theyโ€™re not making fun of Americans (well, a bit, probably, but not primarily Americans), theyโ€™re making fun of Canadian content regulations. While they were making the show, a law was passed saying that all shows needed a certain percentage of distinctly Canadian content. Their response was to ask what does that even mean? The whole show is entirely Canadian! So to comply with that regulation, the decided to write a sketch where they pile every Canadian stereotype on top of each other.

Billy Bandyk

@Kris Ruppert They sure did. I do recall their interview as such. SPOT-ON U R!!!!!

America listened. We now have beers at every city boasting 4% to 14%. Thank you Canada!

AFAIK it was a misconception that Canadian beer was stronger bc they've always used ABV but it used to be alcohol by weight in America, so a lower percentage. Pretty sure 4-5% is standard for a typical lager anywhere in the world.

Chile Pepper

@Ben F Perhaps that may be the case for the labeling, but I bartended through school back in the 80s and 90s and I can tell you that when Yanks came to in they would always note that Canadian beer was stronger.

Kevin Przy

@Chile Pepper Uhhh idk about that I donโ€™t find Canuck beer that strong.
