In the song "Bankroll," Boosie pays tribute to his childhood role model, Cap Mursk, who had big bankrolls, drove a Suzuki all-terrain vehicle, wore fresh stiff clothes and had all the attractive ladies around him. Boosie learned from Mursk's example and by the age of 16, he was making a significant amount of money from selling drugs. He had a network of drug dealers who supplied him with weed and cain, and he was making six-figure amounts in just six months. Boosie experienced the kind of life that many people dream of, with too many knots in his dickies' pants that he could not keep them in a box.
Boosie also talks about the importance of having a bankroll in the second half of the song, emphasizing that money is what counts, whether earned by selling drugs or otherwise. His boastful persona emphasizes that he is a millionaire in mind and that he earns his money in increments of $100,000. He also speaks of the significance of having a trust fund for his children to allow them to have fun when they grow up. The song dotes on having a bankroll as a status marker, referencing how it can determine whether one is taken seriously or not, and the song carries the theme throughout the lyrics.
