They have been playing together casually for the last 7-10 years and decided to go public just recently. There are 6 members including Stan - Guitar/Mandolin, Stuart - Mandolin/Guitar, Stephen - Percussion, Colin - Vocals, James - Bass and Tyson - Bass/Bohdran. Bourbon & Shamrocks are influenced by many genres of music including Celtic, blue grass, traditional folk, rock and roll, blues, jam band, jazz, and many more. Currently they are playing every Wednesday Night at Finnegan's Pub. The set list is predominantly Irish, with a few folk tunes, all played with a decidedly southern flavor. The band prefers to play the Irish Sea Shanties and many of the old style drinking songs. The ultimate goal of Bourbon & Shamrocks is to have fun playing music and develop their own style while working towards producing original music.
